The official date for Goa University Admission PG test for 2023-2024 has been declared by the official authority. 

GU ART PG Result

GU ART PG 2023 Result will be declared soon after the exam.

• Go to the official website of the university
• Navigate to the ‘Examinations’tab on the top-center side of the home page
• Click on ‘Results’ from the drop-down menu
• On the next page, find the associated link for PG results
• The applicants will have to click on the respective link as per their course and semester.
• Click on ‘Click here to download’ on the next page
• Download the ‘.pdf’ file format to check your result
• Students can print and save their results for future use

GU ART PG 2023 Application Form

The candidates are advised to check their eligibility before applying for GU ART PG . The details regarding GU ART PG Application Form are as follows:

• Applicants are requested to visit the official website and submit the application form online.
• The candidates will have to fill in their personal, academic, etc details in the form.
• Also will have to upload the scanned images of the photograph & signature.
• The candidates can choose the test center as per their preference.
• For details please refer to Ordinance OA-19A of Goa University (available on the University website) applicable from the academic year 2021-22.
• The applicants must take the printout of the filled form for future use.

GU ART Application Fee

The candidates can check below the details of the given points of the GU ART application fee:

• Mode of Payment is Online via  Credit Card / Debit Card / Online Banking on GUMS portal only.
• Rs 600 per subject/specialization Except MCA & MBA-FS
• Rs 300 in case of SC/ST of Goa Except for MCA & MBA-FS.
• Rs1,000/- for MCA & MBA-FS and Rs 500 in case of SC/ST of Goa
• PWD candidates are exempted.

GU ART PG Eligibility Criteria 

• Admission to the Post Graduate Programmes shall be based on the Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART).
• The candidate must pass the Bachelor’s examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the relevant subject. Admission is based on the merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART) Test in the relevant subject.
• Further details regarding the eligibility criteria (including interdisciplinary subjects) will be available on the University website.
• Selected candidates who are in the Final Year of Graduation shall be granted Provisional Admission. Their admission will be confirmed after the results are declared based on eligibility. In case a candidate fails to clear the Graduation Examination, the admission shall be canceled and the fees shall be refunded.

GU ART PG Exam Pattern

GU ART PG exam pattern are mentioned below:

• Question Type - The GU-ART will be one paper of a total of 100 marks, containing 50 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 2 marks each.
• Marking Scheme - There will be negative marking, where half a mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Exam Duration- The duration of the GU-ART PG will be of 90 minutes.
• The breakup of 100 marks for the GU-ART Question paper shall be as follows:

1. 1. Section I (Least difficult) – 15 Questions
   2. Section II (Difficult) – 15 Questions
   3. Section III (Most difficult) – 20 Questions

GU ART PG Syllabus

The GU ART PG syllabus will be based on the third-year syllabus of the degree program of Goa University in the respective subject/specialization. The test will be based on the general knowledge, analytical ability, logical reasoning, and the specific subject syllabus, where applicable, of up to the level of HSSC.

GU ART PG Admit Card

GU ART PG admit card is available after the application form has been submitted on the official website of the University.

• The applicants can download the hall ticket till the exam date from the official website.
• It is necessary to carry the hall ticket to the examination hall as an invigilator will allow any candidate to appear in the exam without it.
• It will have information about the candidate, exam, exam center, etc.
• Also, the applicants are advised to carry documents (10th, 12th & Bachelor's Marksheets, Photo Id proof, etc.) with them to the exam hall for verification purposes.

GU ART PG Tie-Breaker

In case two or more than two candidates have answered the GU-ART and have gained equal marks then the following ways will be followed to solve the ties:

• Section III scores shall be the first level of tie-breaker for them.
• In the case of a tie after the first level, Section II scores shall be the second level of tie-breaker.
• In case the tie still exists, the University shall decide the order of merit.
