ILICAT 2020 or Indian Law Institute All India Common Admission Test 2020 application form has been released & the last date to apply is 19 September 2020 for PG Diploma. It will be conducted at the National Level by the Indian Law Institute (ILI). This exam is organized once every year to enrol the eligible candidates in law courses. ILICAT 2020 Application Form

ILICAT Application Form has been made available on the official website of the conducting body. The details can be checked for the same in the below-given points:

  • The candidates will have to visit the official website of the authorized body.
  • The applicants are advised to read the instructions & guidelines before filling the application form.
  • For filling the form one will be needed to give the email id & contact number.
  • Applying candidates will need to fill the personal details, academic details, etc.
  • Also, they will need to upload the scanned images of Photograph & Signature.
  • Mandatory Documents to be uploaded like Caste Certificate, Research Plan in 500 words, etc.
  • After all the above process submits the registration fee.
  • The candidates are advised to take the printout of the form for future use.

ILICAT 2020 Application Fee

Note- Important points to be noted:
  • The fees mentioned above are applicable to all category candidates.
  • The willing candidate will have to pay a separate application fee of Rs 2000 + Service Charge for different PG Diploma Program available at the University.

ILICAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria 

The applicants must check the eligibility criteria for ILICAT 2020 before filling the form for different courses mentioned below:

For Ph. D. in Law
  • Those having an LL.M. degree with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade from a recognized university.
  • The candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible but their admission will be subject to production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualification, at the time of admission.
  • If the result of the qualifying examination is not declared till the exam date then his/her admission will be provisional.
For LL.M- One Year Program
  • LL.B. Degree ( with not less than 50% marks) from any University/Institution recognised by the Bar Council of India.
OR
  • A Law Degree from a Foreign University with at least aggregate 50% marks or equivalent grade as per the Association of Indian University Guidelines.
  • Appearing candidates in the qualifying examinations are also eligible but their admission will be subject to production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualification at the time of admission.
  • The applicant's admission will be provisional if the result of the qualifying exam is not declared until the exam is conducted.
For P.G. Diploma Programs
  • The minimum qualification for the admission to the P.G. Diploma Programs is a Graduate degree from a recognised board/University.
  • Additional 5% weightage in marks will be given to the Law graduates for admission to all the P.G. Diploma Programs.
For On-Line Certificate Programs - This has two subjects viz; Cyber Law & IPRs & Information Technology in the Internet Age.
  • Those who are pursuing or has pursued diploma or degree after 10+2 & has access to computer & Internet can apply for this.

ILICAT 2020 Admit Card

ILICAT 2020 Admit Card will be released on the official website after the successful submission of the form.

  • The applicants will be able to download the Hall Ticket as it will be released and will be available till the exam date.
  • The Admit Card and Roll Number will also be sent through email in case of a candidate unable to download it via the website.
  • Applicants are advised to keep the Admission Ticket safely until the admission process gets over.
  • Along with the Hall Ticket, the applicants must carry the original Id proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, etc. for verification purpose.

  • Questions to be answered in not more than 150 words.
  • Each question will be of 10 marks.

ILICAT 2020 Result

ILICAT 2020 Result will be displayed on the official website of the competent authority.

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the performance in the Entrance exam which will be conducted by the Indian Law Institute.
  • Final merit list will be published based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination and viva-voce (20 Marks).
  • A candidate will be considered selected only when he/she appears in both the sections(Entrance exam and Vice-Voce).
  • The scorecard will be made available and the candidates will be able to download it from the official website. 

ILICAT 2020 Admission Procedure

The ILICAT 2020 admission process for all the courses can be checked below:

  • Firstly, the candidates will have to submit the Application Form online.
  • Also, the admission will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations as per the eligibility and an additional 5% weightage would be given to the law candidates.

ILICAT 2020 Counselling

ILICAT 2020 counselling will be conducted in offline mode for those who will get selected in the entrance exam at the Delhi campus of Indian Law Institute.

  • Indian Law Institute will conduct the Counselling in 3 rounds on the basis of the merit list. 
  • Applicants are advised to keep checking the official website for updates and no separate letter will be sent for the counselling.
