NPAT 2020 last date to fill the application form has been extended till 12 May 2020 and the exam date has been postponed and will be conducted on 18 & 22 May 2020. NPAT 2020 (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is an entrance exam organized at the national level and is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). NMIMS University conducts this test for admission in various UG and PG programs. Narsee Monjee organizes these programs to offer the eligible applicants for admission in various courses B.Tech, MBA Tech, MBA (Pharma Tech), B.Sc, B.Com (Hons.), etc. The candidates after qualifying this exam are eligible to get admission into the courses offered by the constituent schools of Narsee Monjee at Indore, Bengaluru, Shirpur, Mumbai, Indore, and Navi Mumbai campuses. NPAT 2020 Application Form

The authority will release the NPAT 2020 Application Form on the official website only. Check the details about NPAT registration form are mentioned below:

  • The candidates need can fill the NPAT application form through online mode only.
  • The application form can be filled by the aspirant from the 16 December 2019.
  • Candidates have to upload their recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • The deadline for making corrections in the application form is 10 May 2020.
  • The applicants are advised to submit the Application Form before the Last date.
  • Candidates do not need to send the application form to the authority, they need to submit the application form online only.

 NPAT Application Fee 

The application fee for the NPAT exam will depend on the number of schools for which the candidate will apply. The information about the application fee to be paid according to the number of schools is provided below:

NPAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

NPAT Eligibility 2020 vary according to the course opted by the applicants. The candidates must go through the following article to know about their Eligibility:

Age Limit Criteria: The applicants should not be more than 25 years of age.

Qualification Requirement criteria: 

  • For B.Tech & MBA Tech: The candidates who have completed their 12th standard or will be appearing for the final exams of 12th including International Baccalaureate Diploma with English and Science subjects would be eligible to apply for NPAT exam.
  • For B.sc finance, BBA, B.Com (Hons.): The aspirant who has completed their 12th standard or will be appearing for the final exams of 12th standard including International Baccalaureate Diploma with Mathematics/statistics would be eligible to apply for the NPAT exam.
  • For B.Sc Economics: The candidates who have completed their 12th standard or will be appearing for the final exams of 12th standard including International Baccalaureate Diploma in the first attempt itself.
  • For MBA Pharma Tech ( B.Pharm + MBA): The applicant who has completed their 12th standard or will be appearing for the final exams of 12th standard including International Baccalaureate Diploma with PCM /PCB and English as a compulsory subject.

Minimum Marks Requirement Criteria:

  • For B.Tech & MBA Tech: The candidates need to have a minimum score of 50% (for Mumbai Campus) and 45% (for Shirpur campus).
  • For B.sc finance, BBA, B.Com (Hons.): The aspirant needs to have a minimum score of 50% to get admission to the B.Sc finance & BBA course and 60% to get admission to the B.Com Hons course.
  • For B.Sc Economics: The candidates need to have at least 60% marks.
  • For MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm + MBA): The applicant needs to have a minimum score of 50% in PCM/PCB.

NPAT 2020 Admit Card

After the release of the NPAT Admit Card 2020 candidate can download it from the official website. Admit Card must be downloaded by all the successfully registered candidates and they must follow undermentioned guideline:

  • The admit card will be released by the authority through online mode only.
  • The admit card will be available from May First week 2020 onwards.
  • The candidates are required to carry the admit card on the exam day along with valid id proof.

NPAT 2020 Syllabus

NPAT Syllabus 2020 will be in two papers 1 and 2 in Paper 1(Common) which is divided into 3 sections (Quantitative & Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in the English language). The paper-2 (Design) which also be divided into 3 sections (Spatial Ability & Visualization Skills, Observation & problem solving and General Awareness & Design sensibility).


  • Section 1- Topics coming from Number System, Arithmetic, Algebra, Sets & Functions, Elementary Statistics and Trigonometry.
  • Section 2- Question is from Critical Thinking, Verbal Logical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Numerical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, and Spatial Reasoning.
  • Section 3- Topics will be Error Recognition, Applied Grammar, Vocabulary, Contextual Usage, Sequencing of Ideas, and Reading Comprehension.


  • Section 1- Topics will be Principal Of Perception & Visual Design, Spatial Relationship Assessment, Knowledge of Practical & Everyday Mechanical, and Scientific Concepts.
  • Section 2- Topics will be the ability to detect concealed properties in ordinary things, people, situations, events, etc., applying attention to certain details, analyzing, reasoning, classifying, inferring, and predicting.
  • Section 3- Topics will be a general awareness of environmental factors such as climate, population, weather, natural resources, etc., and awareness of social & cultural connection with the design, history of art, sculpture, and literature.

NPAT 2020 Preparation Tips

NPAT Preparation Tips 2020 are given below:

  • The candidates need to make a proper time table and follow it properly so that they can be consistent in their preparation for the exam.
  • The candidates must know about the exam pattern and topic wise syllabus before they begin their preparation for the exam. 
  • The candidates need to be regular in their revision as only revision regularly will help the candidates to get good marks in NPAT 2020.
  • The candidates need to give as many mock tests they can and solve all the question papers of the previous year.
  • The candidates need to be well aware of the current affairs and the latest national and international news. They can refer to: newspapers; renowned G.K. books such as Arihant, Manorma; and television for the same.
  • The candidates must avoid junk food and need to have a balanced diet.
  • The candidates also need to have proper rest and practice yoga or meditation to get relieved from stress.

NPAT 2020 Result

The conducting will be declared the NPAT 2020 Result through online mode on the official website. Candidates must visit the official website to download the NPAT 2020 Result.

  • The authority (Narsee Monjee) would be declaring the result by June 1st week 2020.
  • The candidates need to enter their login credentials to check their NPAT result.
  • The authority will also be publishing the following: Merit List, Call letter & admission letter for various courses along with the result.
  • The candidates need to download both admission letters as well as the result of NPAT 2020 for the counselling process.

NPAT 2020 Cut-Off

NPAT 2020 Cut-off detail is mentioned below:

  • The cut- off for different programs will be released online.
  • The authority will be calculating the minimum qualifying marks and then it will accordingly decide the cut-off marks.
  • The candidates should score minimum qualifying marks to get shortlisted in the merit list and hence qualify for the counselling process.
  • The candidates having their names in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling round.

NPAT 2020 Counselling

Candidates can check the NAPT 2020 Counselling after the declaration of result. Candidates must go through the information which is mentioned below:

  • Narsee Monjee Institute will be conducting the counselling round through offline mode.
  • The counselling process will be conducted around the Third week of June 2020 (tentative date).
  • Candidates can choose the course and college as per their choice during the counselling.
  • The admission process will depend on the marks scored by the candidate and the number of seats available for that course in that respective campus.
  • The counselling for B.Tech. & MBA (Tech) course will take place in Mumbai Campus.
  • Candidates need to bring the original documents for verification on the counselling day.
