For Basic B.Sc Nursing

• The candidate in search of admission into B.Sc Nursing will be made based on the Merit list.

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

• Selection will be made entirely on merit in the Entrance Examination. 
• In the case of two or more contenders obtaining equal marks in the Entrance Examination, their inter se merit will be determined in order of preference as under:
• Contenders obtaining higher aggregate marks in the GNM Examinations.
• In case there is still a tie, as stated by Date of Birth, the older candidate shall get preference over the younger one.

For M.Sc Nursing

• Selection will be made based on merit in the Entrance Examination.

The merit list for the nominated applicants will be prepared by the official authorities of Odisha B.Sc Nursing, namely the Directorate of Nursing, Odisha, based on their entrance test scores.

Applicants who did well in the entrance test and received a high rank will be considered for admission to the institute. The merit list will be created independently for each category of candidates and posted on the Directorate of Nursing's official website. When creating the merit list, the candidates' scores in the offline entrance exam will be taken into account.
