PGIMER 2023 entrance exam is conducted at a national to offer admission in MD/MS, DM/MCH and DM Hospital Administrative courses, PhD Programme / M.Sc/ M.Sc MLT and Fellowships. This exam is conducted organised by the Post Graduate Institute of Medical, Education and Research, Chandigarh in two sessions January and July. PGIMER Eligibility Criteria for DM/M.CH
Age Limit: Must be within the prescribed age limit as on/before 30th June for July session. Check the age limit criteria given below-

PGIMER JULY Session Eligibility of MD/MS
- Applicants need to have an undergraduate degree of MBBS from any recognized universities or institutes.
- Must have either completed or due to complete, one-year rotatory internship training on or before 30 June 2023 and July session respectively.
- Need to be registered with the Central /State Medical Registration Council.
- Those who are Indian citizen but graduate from foreign Universities must have passed the MCI Screening Exam or FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination) exam conducted by NBE, Govt. of India, Delhi.
- A candidate must have passed MBBS or equivalent degree. Candidate(s) must obtain the certificate of grading system from his/her University / Institution to determine the value of grading in percentage to be produced. After getting the certificate, calculate total and obtained marks from the certificate then fill “Marks Column” and complete Final Submission before the due date.
House Job Eligibility Criteria for PGIMER exam
- Candidates should have a degree of BDS from any recognized university.
- Must have either completed or due to complete, compulsory rotatory internship training on or before 30 June 2023 for July session respectively.
- Must be registered with Central/State Dental Registration Council.
- Candidates are eligible for House Job within three years after obtaining the BDS degree.
Eligibility Criteria of Fellowship for PGIMER JULY

- Must pass the MD/MS degree from any university or institute which is recognized by Medical Council of India(MCI).
- Must have either completed or due to complete, two years senior residency in the concerned department on or before 30th June 2023 for July session respectively.
- Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council.

NOTE: Those who belong to SC/ST category having 15 years of regular service have 5 years relaxation in the B.Sc Medical Technology degree.
PGIMER JULY Eligibility Criteria for MD(HA)
- Candidates should be registered with the Central/State Medical Registration Council.
- Should possess the MBBS degree or an equivalent degree from a university or institute which is recognized by the Medical Council of India(MCI).
- Need to have at least 3 years experience in a hospital in the respective field or 5 years in general.
- Have a certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application.
