PPMET 2027 will be conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) tentatively in the month of August. The exam is conducted to offer admission into the B.Sc Nursing course. Admission is completely merit-based, and the merit list is prepared based on marks scored in the entrance exam. After the declaration of results, the University conducts physical counselling; the date and venue of counselling will be intimated through the University website. PPMET 2027 Application Form
The first step for PPMET 2027 is to fill out the application form available on the official website of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Before applying, candidates should carefully review the eligibility criteria for the examination. Interested candidates can go through the details regarding the registration process of the Punjab PMET 2027 application form:
- Applicants must fill in only one PMET 2027 form. Submitting multiple forms will lead to rejection.
- Candidates will first need to register themselves by providing the following details:

- Email address,
- Corresponding Address,
- Mobile Number,
- Captcha, etc
Note- The candidates must check the below important notes.
- Applications for NRI seats in Government/University/Private colleges must be sent to the University after obtaining an eligibility certificate. The deadline will be notified by the University for the 2027 session.
- NRI candidates are not required to appear in the entrance test.
- NRI candidates must obtain an eligibility certificate and apply on the prescribed admission application form.
Note: An error in filling out an ONLINE APPLICATION FORM may result in the rejection of such an Application Form. Corrections in the information given by the candidate in the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM may not be permitted after the conduct of PPMET.
PPMET 2027 Application Fee
After filling out the application form, candidates must pay the required registration fee. The registration process is completed only after depositing the application fee along with the application form. The registration fee details for BFUHS PPMET 2027 are given below:

How to Fill the Online Application Form for PPMET 2027?
- After registering the applicants will get the user id & password on the registered mobile number.
- Now the application can be filled by giving the details required.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph & signature.
- After the above steps, the fee is to be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking.
- Take the printout of the filled form & keep it safe for further use.
Note: Admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the affiliated institutions of this University in the State of Punjab are made on a merit basis through the conduct of Entrance Tests. PPMET 2027 is being conducted accordingly to enrol suitable candidates in the Nursing Colleges of the State for the 2027 session.
PPMET 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility and qualifications will be as per Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5/7/2016-5HB-III/4488 and its amendments. Candidates must review the eligibility criteria for PPMET 2027 before applying:
- The candidates should hold the degree of 10th & 12th examination from the school located in Punjab or Chandigarh for being eligible for Punjab PMET 2027.
- The applicant must have passed the 10+12 or equivalent from a recognized university/board.
- Must have passed the 12th examination with physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology with aggregate 45% marks & (40% marks for SC/ ST) from any recognized board.
- The candidates must be of 17 years on or before 31st of December of the year of admission.
Punjab PMETNote: Selection of the candidates to any institution shall be made on merit and in a transparent manner as per Punjab Government Notification/s.
PPMET 2027 Exam Pattern
Candidates must familiarise themselves with the exam pattern of the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test 2027. The test has one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Check the other details for the PPMET 2027 exam pattern below:

Note: In all unattempted questions the fifth oval must be darkened otherwise if all ovals are left blank then that question shall carry one negative mark.
NEGATIVE MARKING: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. However, for security reasons fifth oval (i.e. E) has been introduced. In all unattempted questions, the fifth oval must be darkened otherwise if all ovals are left blank then that question shall carry one negative mark. Hence it is in the interest of the candidate not to leave all ovals blank in any question and one oval has to be shaded out of the five.

PPMET 2027 Admit Card
Candidates must know that the Admit Card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall. The other relevant details regarding the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test 2027 Admit Card can be checked below in the given points:
- The University will provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards for PPMET 2027, along with a certificate duly signed and attested by the Principal or last-attended School/Executive Magistrate.
- Once the application form is successfully submitted, the competent authority will issue the Hall Ticket to the applicant.
- Applicants can download the Admission Ticket from the official website by entering their login credentials.
- The Admit Card/Hall Ticket will not be sent via post to individuals.
- Candidates must not alter any entry made in the Admission Ticket.
- While appearing in the exam, candidates must carry a national ID proof along with the Hall Ticket for verification.
PPMET 2027 Results
The competent authority will publish the PPMET 2027 Results online on the official website after evaluating the answer sheets submitted by the candidates. Check the relevant information regarding results in the points below:

- The PMET Result List will be declared rank-wise, roll number-wise and category-wise.
- Ranking will be based solely on the result of PPMET 2027.

Punjab PMET 2027 Merit List
Admission to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) is based on the merit list published by the University. The merit list is prepared using the marks from the Punjab PMET 2027 Result. Candidates must secure qualifying marks in PPMET 2027 to appear on the merit list. Those whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible for further counselling rounds.
PPMET 2027 Counselling / Physical Counselling after the Declaration of PPMET Result
BFUHS will conduct physical counselling after the declaration of the PPMET 2027 result for candidates who qualify in the entrance exam. The counselling schedule, along with venue and time details, will be made available on the University website.
- Candidates will have to attend the counselling as per the schedule and bring along the Original certificates/documents for verification.
- Candidates will also have to bring the online submitted admission application form along with self-attested photocopies of all the original documents.
- A counselling fee will have to be paid which will be told by the authority.
NRI SEATS: Applications for these seats in government, university and private colleges must be sent to the University on or before the due date, which will be notified for the 2027 session. NRI candidates need not appear in PPMET 2027. NRI applicants must obtain an eligibility certificate from the University before applying for the B.Sc. Nursing course. The final status of the colleges and seats will be displayed at the time of counselling. Regardless of participation in PPMET 2027, only candidates who are eligible as per the Prospectus, University Rules, and Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5/7/2016-5HB-III/4488 and who apply for admission will be considered.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab.
