TNPCEE 2023 Syllabus is released by Anna University. Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination is conducted every year to offer admission to the candidates in Engineering and Medical Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. TNPCEE 2023 Syllabus

TNPCEE Examination will consist of consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects of 10+2 level. Candidates can also check the syllabus on the official website of the conducting authority. Given below is Subject wise syllabus of TNPCEE 2023:

PhysicsThermodynamics, Measurement and Units, Wave Motion, Alternating Current Circuits, Radiation, Harmonic Motion, Modern Physics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Magnetic Field, and Electronics.  
ChemistryAtom, Chemical Equilibrium and Ionic Equilibria, Chemical Kinetics, nuclear chemistry, properties and reactions of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes, Transition elements (3d series), Ores and minerals, non-metals and compounds, and Hybridisation of carbon, Sigma and pi-bonds.
MathematicsAlgebra, Arithmetic, Logarithms, Induction, Complex Numbers, Matrices, calculus, Quadratic Equations, Co-ordinate Geometry, Sets and Relations, Trigonometry, Parabola, Hyperbola, Circle, Ellipse and Conics.
Biology Genetics, Mutation, Human evolution, Taxonomy, Concept of Biodiversity, Ecosystem, Microscopy, Evolution of Human, Chromosomes and Cell Division, Plant Kingdom, Photosynthesis, Cardiac cycle, Blood pressure and Respiratory system.

TNPCEE 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates should also be well versed with the exam pattern while preparing for the examination. Given below is the exam pattern of TNPCEE:
  • Mode of Examination: Offline
  • Type of Question: Objective, Multiple Choice Questions
  • Total Marks: Each Paper will be of 50 marks.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

TNPCEE 2023 Preparation Tips

Given below are some preparation tips that candidates can keep in mind while preparing for TNPCEE 2023:
  • Start preparing at least 2-3 months before the entrance exam so there is no last-minute hassle. 
  • Create a timetable denoting time to each subject according to the candidate's strength and weakness.
  • Create realistic goals that can be achieved. Focus on achieving daily targets.
  • Check the syllabus, exam pattern and other important details about the exam properly before preparing.
  • Have all the study material like books, question and sample papers ready beforehand.
  • Solve previous year question paper and sample papers.
  • Concentrate on your weak points and try to improve it.
