TOEFL TEST 2023 Registration

The candidates can apply for TOEFL TEST 2023 via online mode or via TOEFL App. Also, seeking aspirants can download the application from play or i-store. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before applying. Here we have provided a few vital details for registering:

• The registration of TOEFL is available for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Applicants must enrol themselves on the official web portal.
• They need to provide valid information to get registered successfully.
• Any incomplete information will lead to rejection of the form.
• Active email id and contact number should be given to get all the related details.
• Without the fee payment, the form will not be accepted.
• Regular online registration closes 7 days before the test date. Late online registration closes 2 days before the test date. For example, if the test taker wants the test date on Saturday, the last day he/she can register is Thursday.
• The candidates can also register via phone or mail.

The TOEFL iBT test fee varies by location. To find out what the fee is the candidate needs to go to the TOEFL website or the mobile app and select the country or location to which they belong.

How to Cancel or Reschedule TOEFL Test 2023?

If any candidate wants to cancel or reschedule his/her test date then he/she must do it 04 days before the test date. Following are the details which are to be given for cancellation or rescheduling of the exam:

• Appointment number
• The exact name used while registration.
• If a candidate is testing outside the U.S., U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico or Canada, then use the online registration system, the mobile app, or call the appropriate Regional Registration Center (RRC) to reschedule or cancel test appointment. 
• 50% of the test fee will be refunded if the exam date will be cancelled with a stipulated date.

TOEFL TEST 2023 Pattern

The test is delivered via the internet at secure, ETS approved test centres. Aspirants can check below TOEFL Test 2023 Exam Pattern:

• Duration - The candidates will be given 03 hours (180 minutes) to finish the exam.
• Sections - There will be 04 sections :
  • Reading measures will be held to check ability to understand academic reading material written in English - 54-72 minutes; 30-40 questions
  • Listening measures to check ability to understand spoken English as it is used in colleges and universities - 41-57 minutes; 28-39 questions
  • Speaking measures to check ability to speak English in an academic context — 17 minutes; 4 tasks
  • Writing measures to check the ability to write in English in a way that is appropriate for college and university course work - 50 minutes; 2 tasks
• The TOEFL iBT uses a standard English-language - (QWERTY) computer keyboard.
• The test may include extra questions in the Reading or Listening section that do not count to the candidate's score.
• Number of Attempts - There is no limit to take the test, but one cannot take it more than once in a 3-day period.

TOEFL TEST 2023 Score

There is no minimum mark required to pass the test by the TOEFL Program or ETS. Each institution or agency sets its own score requirements.  After finishing the test the candidate will be able to view their scores of the Listening and Reading sections. The final score will be posted in ETS account via online and mobile app approximately 6 days after taking the test.

• If a recipient cancels the score then he/she won't be reported about their score. Also, in this case, no money will be refunded.
• The scaled scores of the 4 test sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing) all range from 1 to 30, each section is a separate measure and each measure has its own scale.
• TOEFL Test scores are valid for 02 years from the test date. 
• ETS retains the scores of test-takers for 02 years from the test date.
