UCEED2021 last day to fill the application form has been extended till 10 November 2020 without any late fees and till 17 November 2020 with late fees charges. IIT Bombay will release the admit card on 01 January 2021. The exam is scheduled to be held on 17 January 2021 in online as well as offline mode. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and is given by the candidates to enter the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program at several institutes. After the exam, IITB organizes a Joint Admission Exercise which allows the candidate to get admission into a few prestigious institutions called participating institutes. Additionally, there are other universities and colleges which do not participate in the Joint Admission Exercise but do accept UCEED 2021 scores.
Last date for Online Registration with regular fee is extended till 10 November 2020 and with late fees it has been extended till 17 November 2020.

UCEED 2021 Application Form
UCEED 2021 Application form has been released on 09 September 2020 and can be filled till 10 November 2020 without late fee. Candidates must go through the below-given guidelines to capture every important detail regarding UCEED Registration 2021:
If a candidate misses the last date to submit the form, they can fill until 17 November with a late fee ofRs. 500/-.
The application form for UCEED examination was submitted through online mode only.
Candidates had to make sure that all the details given in the application form are correct and verified.
PwD candidates were given a scribe and or compensatory time (20 min/hr) during the exam.
The candidate had to upload the following documents:
A recent colour photograph in either JPEG or JPG format.
Scanned copy of the candidate’s full signature on white paper in either JPEG or JPG format.
If the applicant appeared in 2019, qualifying examination certificate had to be uploaded in PDF format.
Candidates appearing for the board exam in 2020 had to upload a certificate from the school/college principal in PDF format.
If the name is not the same as in the Class XII certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name in PDF format.
OBC-NCL, Caste (for SC), Tribe (for ST) or PwD certificate issued by a competent authority in PDF format.
UCEED 2021 Application Fees
Mode of Payment: The candidates could pay the application fee through online mode via Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking.

The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
UCEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate, including a foreign national, must have fulfilled every criterion to appear in UCEED. Candidates can read the below points to know the UCEED 2021 eligibility:
Eligibility Criteria for Applying in UCEED 2021
Candidate should have been born on or after 01 October 1995 for OPEN or OBC-NCL categories.
Candidate should have been born on or after 01 October 1990 for SC, ST or PwD categories.
Number of Attempts
A candidate can appear for UCEED for a maximum of two times and only in consecutive years.
UCEED score is valid for one year only.
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2020 or 2021.
Candidates from Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply for all four institutes—IITB, IITG, IITH and IIITDMJ.
Applicants from any other streams are also eligible to apply for UCEED.
Eligibility Criteria for Applying for B.Desh
Candidates have to fulfil the following criteria mentioned below to apply for the admission:
Candidate should have been born on or after 01 October 1996 for OPEN or OBC-NCL categories & on or after 01 October 1991 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
The candidates should have qualified and obtained a rank in UCEED 2021.
The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination (Class 10+2 or equivalent) in 2021 or should be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2021 in order be eligible.
Applicants from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the four institutes. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.
Candidates appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2019 or earlier are NOT eligible.

UCEED2021 Admit Card
Candidates can download the UCEED 2021 Admit Card from 01 January 2021 onwards. Check all the information about UCEED hall ticket given below:
Admit card can be downloaded through the registration portal (www.uceed.iitb.ac.in)
IITB will issue the admit card to those candidates only whose registration will be complete in all aspects.
The admit card will contain various details like candidate's name, registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED, photograph, signature, exam schedule, test centre details and instructions to applicants.
In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, contact the Chairman JEE (Advanced), UCEED & CEED 2021 at IIT Bombay before the specified date via email mentioned in the registration portal.
Candidates must carry a government authorised photo identity proof along with the Admit Card to the exam venue on the exam day.
It is mandatory to carry the hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
UCEED 2021 Answer Key
UCEED 2021 answer key and question paper will be released on 21 January 2021 on the official website.
This answer key (Part A) can be used by the candidates to verify their answers, which are also made available in the form of Candidate Answer Sheets.
If a candidate believes that the answer key is wrong, they can contest the key by posing a challenge against it.
In case any discrepancy is found, it should be addressed to ([email protected]), on or before 24 January 2021.
Candidates have to mention “Comments on Answer Keys” in the subject of the mail.
The final answer key will be released on 31 January 2021.
UCEED 2021 Result
UCEED 2021 Result will be announced on 10 March 2021 tentatively. The result will be declared on the official website. Just go through the Important points related to UCEED results that are mentioned below:
Candidates can download the result by using their user UCEED 2021 login id and password (created during the registration process).
The applicants who will qualify the exam will be able to download their scorecards.
It must be notified that a hard copy of scorecard will not be sent to the qualified candidates.
Obtaining a rank does not necessarily a guaranteed admission in the B.Des. program in the participating institutes.

UCEED 2021 counselling for the Participating Institutes commences will commence soon after the result will be published. Candidates can apply for the admission to the B.Des programme after qualifying the UCEED 2021. Qualified candidates can apply for the admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur for the academic year 2021-2022.

Counselling processing fee for applicants of all categories and genders is Rs. 2000/- for B.Des admission application.
The candidates can give their preference for institute and specialisation in which they want admission.
The applicants can “freeze” their allotted institute, which is determined by UCEED rank and availability, or decline it.
The candidates can also choose to “float” their allotted seat, which signifies that they accept the current allotment but are open to a seat that suits their preferences better.

Candidates should opt for 3 centres of their choice of preference for UCEED at the time of registration. After submitting the online application, request for change of the city will not be entertained under any circumstances.
