• Candidates have to appear for the various entrance exam such as SRMJEEE/ GATE/ CAT/ NATA as per the preferences of the courses. 

SUMC Admission 2023 B.Tech. And M.Tech Courses

RM Institute of Science and Technology Ramapuram Campus offers a 4-year full-time B.Tech. course under six major specializations. The minimum eligibility to apply for the course is having passed HSC Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate having chemistry, biology or mathematics, physics as main subjects.  

The minimum required eligibility for M.Tech is the candidate should have passed B.E. or B.Tech. programs from a recognized university. Candidates are shortlisted B.Tech & M.Tech. on the basis of marks scored in SRMJEEE (UG) and SRMJEEE (PG) entrance exams, respectively. SRM Institute of Science and Technology Ramapuram Campus also extends its education to Research level courses in the management discipline. The basic eligibility to apply for the Ph.D. program is having passed Masters or M.Phil. course with at least 60% marks. The final selection of the candidates will be based on marks in the entrance examination, followed by the performance in the interview. Candidates need to follow these steps in order to fill the application form of SRM University for admission in various courses:

• Visit the SRM official website to register and pay online.
• The application can be filled online or it can be downloaded and sent to the University.
• The hard copy of the application needs to be sent to the university along with copies of other relevant documents and Demand Draft drawn in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.
• For online registration or downloaded forms, candidates need to pay Rs. 1100/- either through e-payment or DD.
• However, the cost for the offline application form purchased from the university office is Rs.1160/-.
• The application must reach the University within the stipulated time. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send to the following address:
