AGRICET 2020 is also known as the Agriculture Common Entrance Test 2020. This exam is conducted by Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University annually at State Level to provide admission to the eligible candidates in Bsc. Hons, MSc, Diploma and PhD in the field of Agriculture, Seed Technology and Organic Farming. The exam is expected to be held in October 2020. It is an offline examination, in which candidates have to solve 120 MCQ of 1 mark each in 1 hour 30 minutes. Candidates can read the given below article to know more about AGRICET 2020.

AGRICET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check their eligibility before filling the application form. Given below is the AGRICET 2020 Eligibility:

  • Candidate must possess the citizenship of India.
  • Those applicants who apply for the exam must complete the age of 17 years as on 31 December 2020 and upper age of 22 years. If candidates belong to SC/ST  upper age limit should be 25 years and 27 years age for Physically Handicapped. 
Appearing Applicants
  • Candidates who are in the process of the final exam of the diploma are also eligible to apply.
  • 85% of seats are reserved for Andhra Pradesh candidates.
  • 15 % of seats are reserved for other candidates.
  • Candidates must a degree of two years diploma in agriculture/seed technology/organic farming from ANGRAU/PJTSAU. 
  • Those who are going to complete the Diploma Requirements in 2018-19 Academic Year can also apply by submitting a Completion Certificate from the concerned Head of the Institute.

  • Applicants can download the AGRICET hall ticket from the website by entering the registration ID and password.
  • In case photograph/Signature of the candidate is missing or blurred or invisible on Hall Ticket, paste your passport size photograph & sign in prescribed area duly attested by Gazetted Officer with a seal, and a Xerox copy of the same Hall Ticket is to be handed over to the invigilator.

About Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) was established under the name of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) on the 12th of June 1964 through the APAU Act 1963. Later, it was renamed as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on the 7th of November, 1996 in honour and memory of the noted Parliamentarian and Kisan Leader, Acharya N. G.
