AGRICET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

University offers various Under Graduate courses in the faculties of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, and Community Science in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Medium for all the examination is English. The minimum duration of the course is 4 years and the maximum is 7 years. AGRICET Eligibility Criteria 2022 qualification criteria based on the previous year is given below. Candidates must read it carefully, if any criteria are not fulfilled then the admission form will be cancelled. 

Age Limit

The age criteria for AGRICET 2022 are: 

• The candidates for admission into First Year Under Graduate courses in the University shall be required to have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates.
• The candidates for admission into First Year Under Graduate courses in the University shall be required to have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 25 years in case of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically challenged.

Eligibility for Foreign Students

The University encourages foreign students to seek admission into various undergraduate programmes. Given below are some of the instructions for foreign students:

• Application for admission should be routed through the Asst. Director General (HRD-II), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, New Delhi- 110012.
• The application should include complete details of academic record indicating courses studied, grades obtained, the medium of instruction, and research work.
• The applications thus received are scrutinized and evaluated by the concerned department (faculty head) to determine the eligibility of the candidate for admission.
• The fee payable by foreign students admitted to any UG degree programme should pay an institutional fee of US $ 4000 for SAARC Countries annually in addition to the normal fees payable by the Indian Students.
