INI CET 2021 Exam Pattern will be released  by AIIMS. INI CET is now a critical PG medical entrance exam. The July session exam has been postponed due to COVID-19, and the candidates who will be appearing for the exam can check INI CET exam pattern from this page. Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test 2021 is a computer based exam. INI CET 2021 Exam Pattern

INI CET is held for MD, MS, DM (6 years), M.Ch (6 years) & MDS in AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and PGIMER.

INI CET 2021 Duration

  • All the candidates only get 3 hours to attempt the exam.

Question in INI CET 2021

  • In total, 200 questions are asked in INI CET exam.
  • There are 2 types of questions in the exam – single correct choice and multiple correct choice.

Single correct choice are those questions in which only 1 answer option is correct. Where in multiple correct choice questions more than 1 answer option are correct.

  • From the past year analysis, we know that.
  • Images based questions are asked in the exam.
  • Extended-matching type questions are also asked in the exam and these can be time consuming at times.
  • Multiple choice questions are also asked in the exam.
  • It has also been seen that Clinical application based questions are there in the exam.

Preparation Tips for INI CET 2021

Here are a few preparation tips about INI CET 2021 which the candidates may follows:

Solve JIPMER and PGIMER past year papers: Since AIIMS conducts INI CET, students focuses on AIIMS previous year papers. However, candidates who appeared for INI CET in the past, recommend to solve JIPMER and PGIMER papers as well.
Past 3 year question papers are important: As per the experts, the topics from which questions have been asked in the past 3 years in the AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, and PGIMER etc. entrance exam are important for INI CET too. So, candidates must mark out these topics and prepare thoroughly. Apart from this, topics from which questions in INI CET Jan exam and last year were asked are also equally important.
MCQ practice: Application based question are very important. Do more and more MCQs to achieve accuracy. Clinical questions are the most important.
Study the syllabus thoroughly: Before starting the preparation, make sure that the syllabus has been checked. Write down the topics from which questions are expected to be framed in the exam.
Go for your own notes: Make your own notes for the preparation of the exam. Mention all the important points and formulas in these notes.
Give mock tests: Solve mock tests in order to know what type of questions come in the exam.
Revision: Revision is a must. The more the revision, the better is the preparation.
Change your material of study: Do not refer too many books for clearing the concept of a topic. Prepare from those books only from which you have already prepared earlier.
