Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Admission Test is known as ISAT. IIST functions as an autonomous body under the Dept. Of Space, Govt of India. ISAT is a National level Admission test which is conducted to offer admissions in B tech based on the applicants' JEE main scores.
All India Ranking is considered to be one of the major factors for admissions in ISAT. Candidates who are willing to take admission in IIST should appear for ISAT 2018. It contains 3 Major Divisions: Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Physical Sciences.
Courses Offered By IIST In B tech:
- Aerospace Engineering is space and technology oriented and compared with mechanical engineering.
- Avionics is electronics and communications related and is linked with Advanced electronics in digital and communication control systems.
- Physical Science is based on the application of basic science in space technology, space science.
The ISAT 2022 Application form
The ISAT 2022 Application form is an online procedure. Applicants have to fill their Form available online visit : admission.iist.ac.in. The applicants must appear for JEE(Main) and JEE (advanced). Fill the required details like educational info, personal info and so on. Upload the scanned photo as well as signature with the form and submit it soon.
Once the online registration is done, the payment has to be made. It can be made via Challan, it has to be downloaded and printed.. The payment can be done at any of the SBI and UBI branches.
- General and OBC category Applicants need to pay application fee of: Rs. 600/-
- Fees for girls (General/OBC-NCL) : Rs. 300/-
- All SC/ ST/ PWD candidates : Rs.300/-

- Reserved category Aspirants:Rs 300/-
How to apply for the ISAT Exam?
- First of all, visit the official website of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) that is iist.ac.in
- After visiting the official web portal, hit the “Admission>>2022 Admission” tab from the top menu bar.
- From the next opened page, select ISAT Online Notification and read the entire details very carefully from iist.ac.in Online Notification.
- After ensuring eligibility criteria for iist.ac.in Exam, you need to press the link of ISAT Exam Application Form
- Fill all the mandatory details in the ISAT Application Form and upload the scanned images of all documents.
- Thereafter, make the payment through Online / offline mode as per the requirement and submit the filled ISAT Exam Application Form with-in given time period.
- At last, don’t forget to take a printout of the filled ISAT Exam Online Application Form and keep it safe for future use.
