Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala is the conducting body of the Kerala ITI exams. The aspiring candidates of Kerala ITI can apply in online mode. Kerala ITI is the diploma-level state exam. Kerala ITI registration will take place at the official site of DET Kerala. Candidates can take admission into various courses provided by many private and government Industrial Technical Institutes of Kerala. There is no entrance exam, the selection of the candidates is solely based on the merit list of the qualifying exam and the eligibility criteria. Kerala ITI Eligibility Criteria 2022
Not all students can participate in the Kerala ITI process. The candidates have to fulfill the eligibility requirement in order to fill the form such as :
Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India
- Have the domicile of Kerala that satisfies the local/non-local status of the Kerala state.
Educational Requirement
- Passed 10th board or SSLC from the recognized board to get admission in Matric trades.
- Passed 10th board or SSLC from the recognized board to get admission in Non - Matric trades
- pre-degree for admission in computer and DTE courses.
Age Criteria
- Candidates must not be less than 14 years of age.
- There is no upper age limit.
Kerala ITI Application Form 2022
Candidates seeking admission in Kerala ITI have to fill the application form online. They have to register themselves by visiting the official site of DET Kerala. Before applying for the Kerala ITI, candidates have to be ready with the following things. Have the scanned copies of the things as per the prescribed format.
- Birth certificate
- Mark sheets
- Domicile certificate
- School leaving certificate (SLC)
- Passport size photographs
- Valid Email id and mobile no.
- All other certificates.
How To Apply For Kerala ITI?
Look into the process to apply for Kerala ITI:
- Visit the official site of the DET kerala (https://det.kerala.gov.in)
- Select the application as per the course such as Matric, Non-Matric, +2, Pre-degree. The application process differs as per the courses.
- Candidates are required to fill in the details such as personal, educational, contact details etc.
- Now upload the documents required in the prescribed format.
- Check whether the entered details are correct or not. If not, then make the correction and if the details are correct then move into the further process.
- Make the payment of the application fee if required.

Kerala ITI Merit List 2022
Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala shortlists the registered candidates on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying exam. Thus to prepare the merit list, the following things are taken into account:
- Scrutiny of the application form.
- Fulfillment of the eligibility criteria of Kerala ITI
- Merit list on the basis of the scores secured in the 10th and 12th board.
The publication of the Kerala ITI merit list takes place in an online mode. The merit list reflects the name of the shortlisted candidates.
Kerala ITI Counselling 2022
The applicants who are shortlisted in the merit list, are called for the Kerala ITI Counselling.
The process involved in the Kerala ITI Counselling are:
- Filling of options as per candidate’s preferences
- Allotment of seats
- Reporting to the allotted ITI
- Documents Verification
- Admission fee payment
- Final admission.
Use the documents as per the course requirement. Documents required at the time of verifications are:
- SSLC certificate/ class 10th passing certificate
- SSLC/ class 10th mark sheet
- School leaving certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Caste certificate Birth certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Pre-degree certificate
- Passport size photographs.
- Address proof such as aadhar card, voter ID card, Passport, Bank Passbook, etc.
