LNIPE Gwalior Admission 2023 entrance exam will be organised tentatively in the month of August by NTA on behalf of Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior (Deemed to be University). LNIPE Gwalior Admission 2023 Application Form

The procedure for filling the LNIPE 2023 application form is as given:

Visit the official website of LNIPE 2023 and click on the "Apply Now" link.
Enter all the personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, course name, gender, e-mail ID etc.
After filling the details, applicants must choose and provide the exam center, which is convenient for them to give the examination.
Upload the documents as required in the prescribed format.
The candidates must pay the Application fees to complete the application form.
The last step is to take the printout of the receipt of the payment made as a confirmation of submission of the application form for future use.

Mode of Payment

The application fee of LNIPE 2021 must be paid in online mode only via debit/credit card or net banking or Kiosk of MP Online.
No application fee will be accepted in any other form.
The fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.

LNIPE Gwalior Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to check the LNIPE Admission 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. The eligibility criteria for various courses can be referred from below:

FOR Undergraduate Courses

For B.P.Ed.- The eligibility for Bachelor of Physical Education is mentioned below:

Must have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or Intermediate/equivalent examination from any recognized Education Board/University etc.
Minimum 50% marks for General and OBC categories & 45% marks for SC/ST category in 10+2 or equivalent.
Also, for candidates who have participated in International / National / Inter-University / School Nationals Games (SGFI) in Sports Competitions or position holders of Inter-Zonal University Games / Sports the applicants must have 50% marks (Gen/OBC category) & 45% marks (SC/ST category).
The maximum age should be 21 years ( for General candidates), 18 Years (for OBC candidates) & 16 years (for SC/ST candidates) as on 01 July 2021.

For Diploma in Sports Coaching-

Must have passed 10+2 examination / equivalent examination conducted by CBSE / State or UT Board / Open School Board. The candidate must be deputed to the course by Defence / Army Sports Control Board.

FOR Postgraduate Courses

For M.P.Ed.- The eligibility for Master of Physical Education are as follows:

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent with at least 50% marks, OR
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks.

For M.A.in Yoga - The Master of Arts in Yoga eligibility are:

Bachelor Degree recognized by the University / Institute with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidate), OR
Bachelor in Physical Education (BPE) / B.P.Ed. recognized by the University / Institute with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidate).

For P.G. Diploma in Yoga - The aspirants should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) marks in Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

For PhD - Bachelor Degree in any discipline recognized by the University/Institute or equivalent with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidate).

Women candidates- Married girls are eligible for admission. But if she conceives during the course, she will have to discontinue her studies for at least one Academic Year. She can join back afresh from the beginning of the semester keeping the Guidelines about the Maximum Duration of the course in mind. But she will not be allowed to keep the infant along with her in the Hostel.

LNIPE Gwalior Admission 2023 Exam Pattern

The candidates need to know about the various stages of the exam to get into the university. The details for LNIPE 2021 exam pattern are as follows:

For B.P.Ed- There will be three round for it, these are as follows:

Physical Fitness Test- The details of Physical fitness round is given below:

The Physical fitness round will be of 100 marks.
Marks will be awarded in Physical Fitness based on performance in 50 meters sprint, standing broad jump, overhead back throw and 1000 meters run/walk.

Written test: The written round details are mentioned below in the points:

The objective type questions from General Awareness, Sports awareness, Sports General Knowledge, Reasoning and Comprehensive skills will form the written test.
The duration of the written test will be of 90 minutes.
The written exam will be of 100 Marks.

Proficiency in Games & Sports: The skill & performance test details are:

Marks will be awarded by a committee based on skills performed in one game/sport, as opted by the candidate.
Testing shall be done in following games/sports: Archery, Artistic Gymnastics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Lawn Tennis, Squash Rackets, Softball, Swimming, Diving & Water Polo, Table Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Weight-Lifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique, Wrestling, Yoga, Canoeing / Kayaking and Cycling.

For M.P.Ed. - The exam pattern for M.P.Ed are as follows:

Written Test - The duration of the Written Test will be 120 Minutes and shall comprise of Professional Competence in Physical Education and Sports. The questions of the written test will be objective in nature.

Skill & Performance Test -

Marks will be awarded by a committee based on skills performed in one game/sport, as opted by the candidate.
Testing shall be done in following games/sports: Archery, Artistic Gymnastics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Lawn Tennis, Squash Rackets, Softball, Swimming, Diving & Water Polo, Table Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Weight-Lifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique, Wrestling, Yoga, Canoeing / Kayaking and Cycling.

For M.A & Diploma in PG - There will be a written test & Practical test. The details are discussed below:

The written test will be Multiple Choice Questions & of 50 Marks. The questions will be based on general awareness.
The Practical test- The applicant will be tested in Basic Asanas and Suryanamaskara.

For Sports Coaching

Sports Equipment: Candidates selected for this course have to bring Sports equipment required in their selected game/Sports.

The candidates will have to visit the official website to download the admit card/ hall ticket.
Candidates are advised to take at least two printouts of the admit card.
Admit card should be kept carefully throughout the admission process as it is required in the counselling procedure too.

Guidelines for Foreign Students Admission

A foreign student willing to pursue courses of studies at LNIPE Gwalior or its study centre should submit an online application form, as mentioned in the prospectus.

Admission of foreign students will be granted by prospectus and/or receipt of application through diplomatic channels (i.e. routed through Indian Missions/Minister of External Affairs) on qualifying the test prescribed for the purpose.
The admission of international students will be supernumerary, i.e. over and above sanctioned intake.
Foreign Students will include the following categories
- Foreign Student
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Non-Residents Indians (NRI)
The university follows the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognised +2 stage boards.
The last date for such admission shall be 14th August each year.
The foreign student shall be subject to the rules and regulations as applied to the other students from time to time.
