Candidates can check the Periyar Maniammai University Admission 2027 eligibility criteria for B.Tech and B.Arch courses below:

• B.Arch. Courses Eligibility Criteria - 
  • candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% aggregate marks.

OR

• • Passed Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) in the aggregate.

and

• • Qualifying NATA (or) any other Aptitude test 
• B.Tech Courses Eligibility Criteria - 
  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
• B.Sc. Maths Eligibility Criteria - 
  • 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or 10+3Diploma examination.
• B.SC. Physics & Chemistry Eligibility Criteria- 
  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology (Natural / Pure Science) or 10+3 Diploma examination from a recognized board.
• B.Sc (Animation & Multimedia) & B.Com Eligibility Criteria - 
  • 10+2 examination or 10+3Diploma examination.
• B.Sc (Computer Science) & BCA Eligibility Criteria - 
  • An applying candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Mathematics /Business Mathematics / Computer Science as one of the subjects.
• B.A. (English)& BBA Eligibility Criteria - 
  • Must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in any subjects.

Periyar Maniammai University Admission 2027 Admission Process

The candidates can check the PMUET 2027 selection basis below:

• Criteria I: merit list prepared with a weightage of 50% marks for aptitude tests (NATA/ any other Aptitude test conducted by the competent authority of State or Central Government) and 50% marks in the qualifying examination (+2 or 10+3 Diploma)
• Criteria II: For NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals category, 5% of the sanctioned intake is allotted

• Criteria I: 50% of the allotted seats will be filled with a merit list prepared with a weightage of 50% marks obtained in the entrance examination and 50% marks in the qualifying examination (+2 or equivalent). Entrance examination scores are taken as per the following:
  • Uni-GAUGE-E 2023
  • Any National Entrance Examination conducted by competent authorities
• Criteria II: 45% of the seats are filled with the merit list prepared based on the normalized cut off marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
• Criteria III: 5% of seats are filled through the NRI category
• Criteria IV: 15% Supernumerary Seats is allotted for Foreign Nationals/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries.

• A merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination & accordingly admission is given to the candidates.
