This section has 40 questions in total all with 01 mark. So, maximum marks of this section is 40 marks. General Awareness cannot be covered in few days before exam, candidates have to prepare it in advance. For score well in this section, Candidate need hard labour. The key to score well in this section is by devoting time for reading newspapers or watching news channels.
This section is Purely Knowledge-based and consumes less time. There is no specific book that can cover all the possible topics, but the following books can be referred to know and understand topics and questions of this section.
English Proficiency of TISSNET exam is easy as compared to other entrance exams. Candidate with good command in English can easily get 25 marks in this section. Most of the questions will be asked to test ability of candidate to answer quickly and their knowledge regarding the subject. Speed is the most important factor that can affect score in this section.
