• Online mode – For those who wish to fill up the examination form online can visit the official website of UPES and apply.
• Offline mode - Candidates can purchase the UPES DAT 2027 application form and prospectus for UPES admissions by visiting the admission counters at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai.
• For registrations in the offline mode, candidates can purchase the application form by sending a demand draft (DD) in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi/Dehradun to the Enrollments Office,

UPES Eligibility for Bachelor in Designing (B.Des)

There are two way to take admission in the Bachelors of Design (B.Des) course in UPES as stated below;

• By taking the UPES DAT 2027 Examination – To go through this way, the applicant needs to score a minimum of 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
• For those who don’t wish to take the UPES DAT 2027 Examination, the procedure is stated below:-

• In 1st Year, all the candidates of the B.Des program will go through a foundation program & from 2nd year onwards they will be aligned to their chosen specialization.
• Candidates must score 80% marks in 10 & 10+2 level examination for the scholarship in B.Des Program.

UPES DAT 2027 Exam Pattern

Candidates can go through the UPES DAT 2027 exam pattern below to understand the structure of the test:

• Mode of Examination: The exam will be conducted through Online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: Time duration allotted is 60 minutes (one hour).
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Type of Questions: Objective type (MCQs)

UPES DAT 2027 Syllabus

There is no official release of the UPES DAT 2027 syllabus from the Design Aptitude Test Examination conducting body but making an educated guess, candidates can prepare the following fields;

UPES DAT 2027 Admit Card

UPES DAT 2027 admit card will be available online on the official website. Admit card for UPES DAT is a mandatory document for candidates to carry with them to their test centre on the day of the entrance exam.

• Candidates shall be denied admission into the examination hall if they fail to bring along their admit cards.
• Aspirants can download their hall ticket by providing their Application Number and Date of Birth/Email ID online on the website of UPES.
• After taking a print of the hall ticket for the design entrance exam, aspirants need to place a duly attested photograph in the space provided on the admit card.

UPES DAT 2027 Result

The UPES DAT 2027 Results would be announced by the official authority and candidates can check their results by entering their Login credentials. If the candidate manages to qualify the examination then he/she shall be further directed for the interview and portfolio presentation in the designated centre.

A 25% scholarship on tuition fees has been provided to all girls taking admission in any Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme. Candidates are advised to check the official UPES website for scholarship details applicable to the 2027 academic year.

• This scholarship is applicable only for the full-time programme.
• The scholarship will be renewed every year.
• Attendance in the previous year should be more than 75%.
