UPSEE 2020 Result will be released in the second week of June 2020 online on the official website. UPSEE result is declared by Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Candidates can check For checking the result, test takers have to enter application number and password provided by them while UPSEE 2020 registration. UPSEE result is declared in two ways- scorecard and merit list. UPSEE scorecard has marks that candidates obtained in UPSEE 2020 exam and the merit list is based on the marks scored. UPSEE 2020 Result

UPSEE 2020 Result will be declared tentatively on the second week of June 2020, at their official website. By UPSEE exam, candidates will get admission in various colleges and technical institutions affiliated with AKTU (Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh).

  • After the declaration of UPSEE result, Counselling will be conducted.
  • Qualified candidates will be called for the UPSEE counselling process.
  • UPSEE 2020 Scorecard will contain information like candidates marks in each section, merit obtained and the rank of the candidates.

How to Check the UPSEE 2020 Result?

Candidates have to follow the given below steps to check UPSEE result:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website pf UPSEE
  • Step 2: After this, click on the “Online Result for UPSEE 2020” tab. 
  • Step 3: Enter Roll No. and DOB (dd/mm/yyyy) in the fields provided.
  • Step 4: After entering the details, click on the ‘submit’ tab.
  • Step 5: The UPSEE 2020 online Score Card will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6: Candidates are advised to download and take print of UPSEE Score Card.

Candidates will be able to check few details in the result of UPSEE 2020. If there is any mistake in the result, then candidates have to contact the authorities. Once the scorecard is successfully downloaded, candidates must make sure that the following details will be included in UPSEE 2020 Result:

  • UPSEE 2020 Rank
  • Marks obtained in UPSEE 2020 in each section
  • Candidate's Photo with signature

UPSEE 2020 Cutoff Marks

Candidates can check UPSEE cutoff marks from the following table. As AKTU will use this to prepare the merit list for candidates:

UPSEE 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam then AKTU will use the tie-breaking rule to sort down the rank of each candidate. Candidate with higher positive marks is ranked higher than another.

Candidates must refer to points given below to check how tie-breaking is done in UPSEE:
  •  A candidate with less number of incorrect answers is placed at higher merit.
  • If tie still exists, then the below-given criteria are used which vary according to the courses:
    B.Tech./B. Tech (Ag. Engg.)/ MCA(Integrated) M Tech (Dual Degree)First, the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, sections of Paper 1 is considered and then by age.
    B.Pharm.By marks secured in Biology, Chemistry sections of Paper 2 respectively and then by age
    B.ArchBy marks secured in Drawing Aptitude, Mathematics & Aesthetics sensitivity section of Paper 3 respectively and then by age.
    B.Tech.(Bio-Tech.)Tie-breaker is same as that in B.Tech./B.Pharm 
    B Des/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/ B Voc/ MBA/MBA(Integrated)/MCA/Lateral entryBy age only
  • If a tie still exists, the candidate with the lowest application number will be placed higher in the merit.

UPSEE 2020 Cut off

Given below are some important points related to UPSEE cutoff 2020:

  • According to UP Govt., the cut-off marks for General category students is 25% and 20% for SC/ST category students.
  • UPSEE 2020 Cut off is the least marks/percentage that a candidate must have to get admission in various courses that will be offered in various colleges in UP.
  • Generally, UPSEE conducts counselling for engineering courses only as the number of candidates who have applied for UPSEE admissions in engineering courses exceeds the total number of seats. Therefore, candidates who will score atleast the cut off can apply for UPSEE 2020 Counselling process for admission to engineering courses.

UPSEE 2020 Counselling 

AKTU calls all the qualified candidates of the UPSEE 2020 to appear for the counselling round. Counselling is based on the merit list. The update for the same is released on the official website after the result is announced. The counselling procedure ends only when the seats of the colleges are all booked. Students are called in different schedules for counselling. The candidate is advised to take the important documents with them on the day of counselling,
