WBJEE JELET 2020 Results will be declared on 24 July 2020(Tentative) on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) Board. 1. WBJEE will not publish any merit, rank or score list.

2. Rank card will be issued to only those candidates who have appeared for the examination.

3. If any candidate wants to get a duplicate rank card, then they have to pay a processing fee of Rs 500/- through bank draft in the name of "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board(WBJEEB), payable at Kolkata. 

4. Candidates are advised to keep their rank cards in a safe place for future use. No duplicate card will be provided by the authority after the completion of the counselling and admission round.

Step 1. In the first step, candidates have to visit the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
Step 2. Then, search here for "WBJEE JELET 2020 Rank Card" icon.
Step 3. Click on that link.
Step 4. Now, candidates have to login by entering their password, enrolment number or application number.
Step 5. Click on "submit" button and a new page of the rank card will start displaying on the desktop screen.
Step 6. Candidates can check their rank and score obtained in the examination.
Step 7. Candidates must download the results in pdf form for future reference.

WBJEE JELET 2020 Ranking and Merit List

WBJEEB prepares a merit list based on the scores of the entrance examination. After the declaration of result, five separate merit rank lists will be prepared based on the candidate’s total score in the examination. The merit list is prepared as per the different subjects are given below.

  1. Diploma in Engineering & Technology except for Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering.
  2. Diploma in Pharmacy
  3. Diploma in Printing Technology
  4. Diploma in Agricultural Engineering
  5. B.Sc.

Following are some important points regarding WBJEE JELET merit list preparation:

  • The rank will be named as General Merit Rank (GMR)
  • The ranking will be done in the descending order of entrance exam marks.
  • Separate reserved category merit position will also be indicated for the respective category of candidates e.g. SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A-Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank as applicable.
  • Counselling/Seat allotment/admission will be done based on the GMR. 
  • If in the case at the time of verification the category found is incorrect no admission will be done on the basis of category then. The candidate will be considered as a general category with his/her GMR.
Note -  A candidates shall be listed in the respective group based on the information provided by him/her regarding the qualifying examination in the application form. Hence, if any mistake/error will be done in this regard he/she will be ranked in the wrong group and eventually will not be able to take admission.

WBJEE JELET 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria

Tie-Breaking Criteria of WBJEE JELET 2020 for different courses are listed below.

For diploma holders in Engineering and Technology excluding Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering
  • At first, the tie will be solved by selecting a candidate who has scored less negative marks in total.
  • If the tie persists, then a candidate who has scored more positive marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials will be taken together.
  • If the tie does not solve, then a candidate who has scored less negative marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials will be taken together.
  • For breaking a tie, a candidate has scored more positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
  • At last, a candidate who has obtained less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
For diploma holders in Printing Technology
  • At first, the tie will be solved by selecting a candidate who has scored less negative marks in total.
  • If the tie persists, then a candidate who has scored more positive marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers Materials Science will be taken together.
  • If the tie does not solve, then a candidate who has scored less negative marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers Materials Science will be taken together.
  • For breaking a tie, a candidate has scored more positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
  • At last, a candidate who has obtained less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
For diploma holders in Agriculture Engineering
  • At first, the tie will be solved by selecting a candidate who has scored less negative marks in total.
  • If the tie persists, then a candidate who has scored more positive marks in soil and water, Farm machinery, Power and Food processes, and Food Harvest Engineering will be taken together.
  • If the tie does not solve, then a candidate who has scored less negative marks in soil and water, Farm machinery, Power and Food processes, and Food Harvest Engineering will be taken together.
  • For breaking a tie, a candidate has scored more positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
  • At last, a candidate who has obtained less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application, and Environmental Engineering will be taken together.
For B.Sc Candidates or diploma holders in Pharmacy
  • The tie will be solved by selecting a candidate who has scored less negative marks in total.
Note: If the tie stills exist thereafter, then the tie will be broken by the Date of Birth(DOB). An older candidate will be given preference over the younger candidate.

WBJEE JELET 2020 Counseling

WBJEE JELET 2020 counselling will be conducted after the declaration of results. Those candidates who have clear the entrance exam will eligible for counselling round and they will be notified for counselling round and seat allotment process through their registered contact details.
