What is AAU VET ?
Answer: AAU Veterinary Entrance Test (VET) is an all-India level examination conducted by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat for admission into its Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSC&AH) courses. This test evaluates the aptitude of candidates seeking admission in this course and provides them an opportunity to obtain higher education in the field of veterinary science.
AAU VET 2023 Application Form
Interested and eligible candidates must submit AAU VET 2023 Application Form before the last date. Following are the steps to fill and submit the application form:
- The candidates must apply online on the official website only.
- Before filling out the form they must read all the instructions provided by the authority.
- The information which they will be asked to give must be correct and valid.
- The fee payment is a must but before making the payments they must ensure the eligibility as it is non-refundable.
- After the completion of the form they must keep it with safety for any future use.
How to Apply for AAU VET 2023?
- Visit the official website of Assam Agricultural University.
- Register by entering your name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number. The login ID will be sent to candidates via email.
- Log in by using your user ID and Password.
- Fill AAU VET 2023 Application Form online.
- Enter personal and educational qualification details in the application form.
- Upload scanned passport size photograph (3cm X 4cm) in jpeg format along with scanned signature (3cm X 1cm) in .jpg format.
- Upload your educational certificates and certificate of residence of Assam.
- Verify if all the details furnished in the application form are accurate.
- Submit the application form.

AAU VET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants aspiring to appear for AAU VET 2023 need to first check if they satisfy all the AAU VET 2023 Eligibility Criteria implied in the entrance examination. Candidates can go through the eligibility criteria which is mentioned below.
- Educational Qualification: The applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/ Agriculture/ Forestry with a minimum of 50% marks for General/ OBC/ UPS category applicants and 40% marks for SC/ ST/ DAC from a recognized board of education.
- Age Limit: A applicant opting for an undergraduate degree program should be a minimum of 16 years of age as of 1st August 2023(i.e. must have been born before 01‐08‐2003) for all the programs other than BVSc. & A.H.
- Note: The applicants serving as JRFs/ SRFs/ RAs at AAU are eligible to apply for admission into the postgraduate programs subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria.
AAU VET 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates who will be appearing in AAU VET 2023 examination must know the exam pattern so that they can be well prepared on the day of the examination. AAU VET 2023 Exam Pattern has been mentioned below:

The subjects covered under AAU VET are Biology (Zoology and Botany), Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates must devote time to all three subjects to score well in the entrance examination. In the biology section, 30 questions will be asked from Zoology and 30 questions will be asked from Botany.

AAU VET 2023 Syllabus
Applicants need to ensure that they go through the examination syllabus thoroughly while preparing for the examination to score good marks. AAU VET 2023 Syllabus is given below.
- Syllabus: The syllabus will be based on 10+2 or higher secondary school level education.
- Topics: Applicants will have to answer questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology which were studied in classes 11th and 12th.

AAU VET 2023 Admit Card
AAU VET Admit Card will be issued online by AAU. If candidates fail to show their admit cards to the invigilator at the exam center, they will not be permitted to give the examination. The admit card is the mandatory document without which candidates cannot appear for AAU VET 2023.
In case of any discrepancy, you must immediately contact the conducting authority of the entrance examination. - Click on the link that says “VET 2023 Admit Card”.
- You will be redirected to a page where you can download the admit card.
- Login using your user ID and password.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Click on the “submit” button.
- Your AAU VET 2023 Admit Card will appear on the computer screen.
- Download the admit card.
The exam day instructions will be printed on the back of the admit card. Candidates must follow all the rules mentioned on the admit card so that they do not face any problems on the day of AAU VET 2023. AAU VET 2023 Result
The result will be announced after the exam will be over. It will be made available on the official website. The candidates will be called for counselling based on the result.

AAU VET 2023 Selection Process
The Application has to be submitted online within the prescribed date. Candidates will have to appear personally before the Selection Committee at their own expenses, as per scheduled date(s) to be notified on the web in due course. The selection and admission of candidates are strictly on a merit basis as per regulation in force.
Note: In‐Service candidates must submit their Release Order/ No Objection Certificate from the competent authority to pursue higher studies in AAU. Admission of in‐service candidates from AAU shall be governed by the revised guidelines in force as notified from time.

AAU VET 2023 Exam Center
The details are as follows for exam centers:
- The exam center of AAU VET will be clearly mentioned on the admit card of candidates.
- There are only three exam centers for the AAU VET Entrance exam 2023.
- Candidates can choose the exam center of their preference while filling the AAU VET Application Form.
- Once the exam center is allocated to candidates by AAU, it won’t be altered.
- The conducting authority will not entertain any request for changing the exam center.
- Candidates need to reach the exam center with their admit card and ID proof at least thirty minutes before the examination starts.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices in the examination hall. All three exam centers are located in Assam. They are as follows:
