ACET 2023 Exam Pattern: The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) is going to conduct the ACET 2023 Examination. The candidate will require a separate desktop (or laptop), a webcam, and internet access to take the remotely administered exam. The March segment of the ACET Exam 2023 is set is not announced yet.
The ACET 2023 exam pattern will shed light on other essential components of the exam such as courses covered, marking structure, question formats, and more. It should also be observed that IAI has the authority to make any changes to the ACET exam pattern 2023 that they consider required.
Candidates must have a complete understanding of the ACET syllabus, in addition to the ACET exam pattern 2023, to fully understand what to study to achieve the best results. ACET 2023 will be a home-based online test administered by Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will consist of 70 questions in total, and candidates will have three hours in total to complete it. The ACET 2023 exam pattern is detailed below here:

Subject Wise Exam Pattern for ACET 2023

The paper will be categorized into two sections. the 1st section consists of Statistics, Mathematics, and Data Interpretation. The 2nd section consists of English and Logical Reasoning. The ACET Entrance Exam will have negative markings. For each wrong answer to the 1 mark question, 0.5 mark will be deducted. For each wrong answer for the 2 marks questions, 1 mark will be deducted. For each incorrect answer for the 3 marks questions, 1.5 marks will be deducted. 

How to Prepare for ACET 2023 Examination 

The ACET 2023 Examination will be held in December 2023. Candidates must prepare for the exam calmly, keeping in mind all the important Instructions. Here are a few preparation tips listed out, with an aim to help and guide the candidates for the ACET Examination 2023.
  • Thorough with Syllabus:  Candidates must be well aware of the ACET 2023 Syllabus before they appear for the examination. One cannot prepare efficiently if the syllabus and important topics are not known. Candidates must remember to cover all the important topics to prepare for the ACET 2023 Examination.
  • Thorough with Exam Pattern:  Knowing your Exam Pattern is something that plays an important role in the preparation of the examination. This will basically help the candidates to mark out the topics to which more importance is to be given. If the candidate is not aware of the ACET 2023 Exam Pattern, it will be difficult for the candidate to prepare efficiently for the exam.    
  • Revision: The most significant part is to revise the previously studied topics. It is to be updated with all the studied materials. If candidates skip the process of revision, chances are they might forget the previously studied topic. Revisions prevent the chance of forgetting important details and comprehension of the examination.
  • Mock Test: For a thorough comprehension of the topics, candidates must regularly keep taking mock tests and solving sample papers. This will help in testing the skills and the topics that need to be studied more for the ACET 2023 Examination.
