The CA IPCC eligibility criteria are set forth by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). To avoid future discrepancies, candidates who want to fill out the application form should confirm their eligibility before registering. The eligibility criteria specify the minimum set of conditions that students must meet before registering, including age, educational qualifications, and qualifying marks. The ICAI conducts the CA IPCC test twice a year.
Before beginning the registration procedure, candidates must check that they meet the ICAI's qualifying requirements. The CA IPCC eligibility criteria 2022 includes information on academic qualifications, minimum qualifying marks required, and age limit. The basic conditions that candidates must complete before filling out the CA IPCC 2022 application form are listed below.
Let us take a closer look at the ICAI's CA IPCC eligibility criteria:
After 8 months of submitting the IPCC Registration Form, a student may sit for the CA IPCC Exams (earlier the duration was 9 Months but was reduced to 8 Months on 30th Jan 2012 by ICAI) Although the IPCC Registration Forms are accepted by ICAI all year, the IPCC Exams are only held twice a year, in the months of May and November.
Students entering the CA Curriculum after graduation are excused from taking the CPT and can instead enrol in the IPCC. Students who entered the CA Curriculum directly after graduation through the Direct Entry Scheme can begin their Articleship without taking the CA Inter Exams. Candidates who joined the CA after graduation must first complete 9 months of articleship before being able to take the CA Inter Exams.
