CGTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Requirements, Subject-wise Syllabus

CGTET Eligibility Criteria- Before applying for the CG TET2022, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements. To apply for CG TET 2022, a candidate must be a citizen of India and a resident of the state of Chhattisgarh. The eligibility criteria for the CG TET 2022 are detailed below.

There is no upper age limit for the CG TET 2022 as long as the candidate meets all of the other requirements laid forth by the authorities.
  • CG TET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

The educational credentials necessary for the CG TET 2022 Paper-I and Paper-II are listed below: 

PaperEducational Requirements 
Paper I: For Teachers I-V class (Primary Level)
  • Applicants must have completed Class XII with a cumulative grade point average of at least 50% or equivalent.
  • Candidates who have completed their B.SC/ BA/ B. Ed. degree with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for CG TET 2022. Students who are enrolled in a final four-year bachelor's degree programme in elementary education, a two-year diploma programme in elementary education, or a two-year diploma programme in special education can also take this exam.
Paper II: For Teachers VI-VIII Class (Upper Primary Level)
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation and have passed or are currently enrolled in the final year of a two-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme are eligible to apply for CG TET 2022.
  • Those who have received at least 50% in their graduation and passed/appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/passed or appearing in the last year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.A.Ed
  • Candidates who have passed/appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) and have finished their graduation with a minimum of 45 percent marks are also eligible to enrol for CG TET 2022.
  • CGTET Eligibility Criteria: Citizenship
The candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for CGTET 2022.
  • CGTET Eligibility Criteria: Domicile
The candidate should be a domicile of Chhattisgarh  to apply for CG TET 2022.
