CGTET Exam Pattern- Candidates who want to apply for teaching employment in Chhattisgarh must take the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET). The Chhattisgarh and Punjab Examination Board (CPEB) administers the CG TET test, which follows NCTE's pattern guidelines. The exam is held in two fully separate shifts for Paper I and Paper II, just like the other state exams. The CG TET Paper I is for primary category teachers (classes 1 to 5) while the CG TET Paper II is for secondary category teachers (classes 6 to 12). (class 6 to 8).

CG TET Exam Pattern 2022

The CG TET 2022 Exam will be held in an offline or pen-and-paper format. Paper I and Paper II are the two papers that make up the exam. In the year 2022, the test will be performed in two shifts: the first shift will be conducted for teachers of Class I to V from 09:30 am to 12:15 pm, and the second shift will be done for teachers of Class VI to VIII from 02:00 pm to 04:45 pm. Key Points for CG TET Paper I Exam Pattern

  • Paper I will take 2.30 hours to complete.
  • The questions will be objective in nature, including 150 multiple-choice questions.
  • There will be a one-mark weighting for each question.
  • There will be no deductions for incorrect responses or questions that are not attempted.

Key Points for CG TET Paper II Exam Pattern

  •  Paper II will take 2.30 hours to complete, much like paper I.
  •  The questions will also be objective in nature, with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be asked, each worth one mark.
  •  In paper II, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers or questions that are not attempted.
  •  All Math & Science instructors must choose Mathematics & Science as a topic on the question paper, whereas Social Science teachers must choose Social Science as a subject on the question paper.
