DASA UG 2022 Counselling: Preparation for Merit List, Dates, Institute and Courses

DASA UG 2022 counselling Special Round Choice Filling has been started via online mode. The counselling is held to accept qualified applicants to BTech and BArch programmes offered by NITs, IIITs, SPAs, and other Centrally Funded and Premier Technical Institutes across India. For the purpose of determining DASA UG seat allocation, the admission authority will take into account JEE Main scores as well as the candidate's preferences in the order of merit and priority. For the development of the DASA 2022 merit list, the admission authority will examine the JEE Main results. The best of the legitimate individual subject scores will be used for such candidates who have attempted numerous times. DASA 2022 Counselling

DASA Counselling 2022 Special Round Choice Filling has been started via online mode. The seat Allotment is released in three rounds. Speical Round choice filling and reporting is conducted the confirmation of all the three rounds.

DASA UG 2022 Counselling: Preparation for Merit List 

All eligible candidates will be placed on a merit list based solely on their cumulative SAT Subject Test scores. If the overall SAT Subject Test scores of two or more candidates are the same, the candidate's inter se merit will be assessed as follows:

  • Mathematics Level 2 SAT Subject Test scores, followed by Physics SAT Subject Test scores
  • Total marks received when all three SAT papers were taken on the same day
  • Total marks received after taking all three SAT papers on two different occasions
  • Total marks acquired after taking three SAT papers on three separate dates
  • If the tie is not broken by the foregoing criteria, the candidates' dates of birth will be compared, and the older applicants will be given higher priority.
  • If the tie remains unbroken, the female applicant will be given higher priority.

Allotment of DASA 2022 Institute and Courses

  • The institute and course allotment will be based on the merit list and the options stated by the candidates in their DASA application form.
  • Candidates who rank higher on the merit list will have a higher priority in being assigned to the institute and course of their choice than those who rank lower on the merit list.
  • If the candidate's first preference (institute/course) is not accessible, he or she will be assigned to the second preference (institute/course), and so on.
  • Candidates who are not qualified for seat allotment will be marked as not allotted in the DASA 2022 seat allotment list, but they will be eligible for Rounds 2, 3, and 4 of allotment against vacancies.
  • Candidates from other countries must secure a valid student visa from the Indian Missions in their respective countries.
  • To receive the visa, they must present the Provisional Admission offer letter and other needed documents to the Indian Missions in their respective countries.
  • It will be the candidate's duty to secure an acceptable visa.
