Gujarat ITI 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Selection Process, Merit List

The Gujarat ITI 2022 Eligibility Criteria has been released by the authorities. Before filling out the application form, those interested in attending this institute should check their eligibility criteria. If a candidate is found to be ineligible, they will be disqualified. The details of the Eligibility Criteria are listed below:
- The candidates must be 14 years old at the time of application.
- The conducting authority has not set an upper age limit.
- Candidates must have completed 8th, 10th, or 12th grade from a recognised board.
- They must have a Gujarat domicile certificate issued by the state's relevant body.
- Engineering and non-engineering trades have different educational requirements.
Gujarat ITI 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who wish to appear at this institute must first ensure that they meet the Eligibility Criteria before filling out the Application Form. Candidates who are ineligible will be disqualified. Details on the Gujarat ITI Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria are provided below.
- Age Requirements: Candidates must be at least 14 years old. However, for some courses, candidates must be at least 18 years old. Age relaxation is available to reserved category candidates in accordance with the rules.
- Educational Requirements: Candidates must have passed the SSC/class 10th or its equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates for admission to certain trades must have completed HSC/class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Note: Applicants must be physically and mentally fit/stable in order to complete the rigorous training provided by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). In addition, for Gujarat ITI admission 2022, they must obtain a medical fitness certificate from a competent authority.
Gujarat ITI Admissions 2022 Merit List
The Merit List will be published on the official website of the Gujarat Industrial Training Institute according to the schedule provided by the authority, and those applicants who have appeared can check their names in the Merit List. The Merit List will show the names of qualified students, and only those on the Merit List will be admitted to the next level of admission.
DET will create several merit lists, including a general merit list, a women's merit list, an SC/ST merit list, a socially backward class merit list, and an economically disadvantaged section merit list.
Gujarat ITI 2022 Selection Process
- Admission will be granted to qualified candidates based on their performance in the qualifying exam (8th/ 10th/ 12th/ Graduate, as applicable).
- A merit list of candidates will be prepared based on their performance in the qualifying exam.
- The merit list will be published on the official website, and candidates will be able to check their names to see if they are on it.
- Those on the merit list will be able to specify their preferred trade and institute for admissions.
- Following that, the candidates will be assigned a seat based on their rank and preferences, and their allotment letters will be posted on the website.
- Candidates must download and print their allotment letters before going to their assigned institute for admission.
- The candidate must report to the designated institute by the deadline. Those who arrive late will forfeit their seat and will not be admitted.
