A tie is a situation when two or more candidates have scored equal marks or ranks in the entrance exam. In case, if there is a tie exists in the final merit list, then it will be solved by the following way.
The counseling round of Horticet 2020 will commence after the declaration of the result. The counseling is expected to commence from the first week of August 2020. Those candidates who will find their name in the merit list will be eligible to appear in the counseling round. In the counseling session, the final allotment of seats to the candidates will be made. Candidates have to bring their original documents in the counseling, that will be required at the time of booking the seats.
Dr. YSR Horticultural University was established in the year 2007 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The university is situated at Venkataramannagudem, near Tadepalligudem in West Godavari District, and is one of the second Horticultural University in the country. The mission of the university is the development of technologies for the horticultural crops to ensure the safety to the consumers, people involved in the production and environment and to reduce the cost of production through increased efficiency of inputs to enhance the profitability of the consumers. The university currently has 7 Horticultural colleges, 9 Horticultural polytechnics, 17 research stations, and 4 Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Andhra Pradesh.
