HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Application Form

Following are the details about the HPU B.Sc NURSING Application/Registration Form 2023. Procedure for Submission of Online Application Form:

1. Click on “Under Graduate” to access the list of programs.
2. Before clicking on the program please click on the directions for filling the online application form, a pdf file will be open kindly read carefully.
3. Click on the program name for that a candidate is willing to apply i.e. “Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing’.
4. After clicking on the program a pop are open for terms and conditions.
5. Kindly check the terms and conditions. After that, you will be redirected to the personal information page.
6. The online Entrance Application form will have the following subsequent information: a) Personal Information b) Education and Document Details c) Application Summary d) Payment e) Submit an application form.
7. Fill the personal information first. After filling up the personal information click on the Save button at the last of the page. The system will generate the Unique Registration number along with a password and the same will be sent on the registered e-mail and registered mobile number. Applicants are advised to note the same.
8. After that aspirants can continue and fill different needed data or log out from the application and log in again with a unique registration number and password to complete the application form filling process.
9. After the registration process (filling up personal information-Receiving of unique Registration number and password), Click on “Under-Graduate” on the home page and click on “Click here for Student Login”.
10. Login with a unique registration number along with a password and you will get all the earlier submitted information on the personal information page.
11. The candidate is required to fill all information required in different sections like Education and document details.
12. Fill up the educational details and upload the related documents like Photo and Signature as prescribed by the authority.
13. To save the data please click on the ‘Continue and Save’ button at the bottom of each screen.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidate can find all the important information about HPU B.Sc eligibility 2023 given below:

•  Admission to Post-Basic B.Sc. The nursing Degree course will be made based on the merit of the
  Entrance Test to be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University Shimla for which the female
  candidates only are eligible subject to fulfilment of the following conditions:-

a) The candidates must be registered as Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with H.P. State Nurses Registration Council, Shimla at the time of counselling.

b) Candidates must have passed their 10+2 and its equivalent examination from recognized Board/University established by Law in India with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the required percentage of aggregate marks will be 35%.

c) They must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in General Nursing & Midwifery from the School/Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council.

d) Distribution of seats between In-Service and Direct candidates in respect of Sister Nivedita
Government Nursing College, IGMC, Shimla will be made in the ratio of 70:30. However, 200 points vertical reservation roster will be applied afresh for distribution of seats among General, SC, ST, and OBC categories and no horizontal reservation roster will be applied.

a) Only, in-service regularly appointed Nursing Cadre candidates of Govt. of H.P. will be allotted the seats from In-service quota. However, adhoc & contractual appointees including appointees of Rogi Kalyan Samities will also be considered under this quota.

b) The candidates must not have attained a maximum of 50 years of age as on 31st December,
2020.

a) The Bonafide Himachali/Domicile candidates/Children of H.P. Govt. employees and employees of
Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially financed by the Himachal Pradesh Government, who have
done their GNM course from GNM Schools/Institutions anywhere in India duly recognized by the
Indian Nursing Council/H.P. State Nurses Registration Council.

OR

The candidate is ought to be GNM trained from the recognized Govt./Private GNM Schools/ Institutions situated in the State of Himachal Pradesh.

b) No domicile certificate will be required for filling up Direct Seats under Management Quota in Private Nursing Colleges in State of Himachal Pradesh.

c) The age of the aspirant must be between 17 to 35 years as of 31st December. However, the upper age can be relaxable by 5 years within the case of SC/ST applicant.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Admit Card

Candidates can refer to the below-given section to get all the important details regarding HPU B.Sc NURSING Admit Card/Hall Ticket :

• Candidates need to go to the website of the university and download their admit card/Hall ticket.
• HPU B.Sc NURSING Admit Card 2023 will be made available in July 2023.
• The name and address of the test centre will be communicated on the Hall Ticket.
• Also, aspirants must make sure that they carry their HPU B.Sc NURSING Hall ticket with them on the day of the exam as Center Superintendent will not allow the candidate to enter inside the examination hall without their admit card.
• The test will start exactly at the time mentioned on the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the Invigilator.
• The candidate is advised to preserve their Admit Cards/Hall ticket in good conditions till the counselling/admission process is over.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Answer Key 

HPU Nursing answer keys 2023 will be released by the board at its official website. Candidates can check the answers and calculate the probable score of the exam. However, If the candidate is not satisfied with the key answer, can send the documentary proof to the Deputy Registrar(Secrecy) H.P. University, Shimla. Candidates can obtain the photocopy of OMR Answer sheet under for which they may send the request to the Public Information Officer-cum- Assistant Registrar Teaching, Office of the Dean of Studies, H.P. University, Shimla as per the fees that will be notified at the same time.

If a candidate will not be satisfied with the option marked in the answer key, then in such a case, he/she can submit an objection in the answer key. Objections have to be sent along with the documentary proof to the Deputy Registrar (Secretary), HP University, Shimla -5. Candidates need to submit the objection in the answer key as per the instructions on the basis of scheduled dates.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Result

The HPU B.Sc Nursing result will be declared and made available on the official website of the University. The minimum qualifying marks of the entrance test for admission to B.Sc. Nursing  HPU degree course will be 35% for General & its sub-categories and 30% for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes & their sub-categories and
Physically Handicapped candidate.

• No detailed scorecards will be sent to the aspirant.
• No separate information will be given to the candidates in this regard.
• There will be no rechecking/re-evaluation of the Answer-Sheet.
• If the aspirant can obtain the photocopy of OMR Answersheet under RTI Act, 2005 for which the applicant may send a request to the Public Information Officer-cum- Assistant Registrar Teaching, Office of the Dean of Studies, H.P. University, Shimla along with a fee of Rs. 100/- in the shape of Bank Draft/ IPO to be drawn in favour of Finance Officer, HPU

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Merit List

The combined and category-wise merit list based on the marks of the entrance test of all qualified applicants will be prepared and notified on the official website.

• Merely assigning the rank in the merit list does not confer any right for admission.
• However, the admission will be made in order of merit as well as the fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria on verification of the original /documents certificates and further subject to availability of seats in the concerned quota/category at the time of counselling.
• The copy of the merit list must be forwarded to the Director of Medical Education & Research, Himachal Pradesh, Block No.18, SDA Complex, Kasumpti, Shimla-9 for completing the admission process through the counselling process.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Tie-breaker rule

If two or more aspirants have obtained equal aggregate marks in the Entrance Test for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Course, then their ranking will be determined based on marks obtained by the applicant in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English in that order in the B.Sc entrance test. Even if, the tie still exists after exhausting the above procedure, then the aspirant older in age will be given preference and will be ranked first.

HPU B.Sc Nursing 2023 Counseling 

There will be a counselling system to allot the available seats in order of merit-cum choice of the applicant in the available Colleges/Institutions.

• The process of admission will be completed through the counselling process within the specified period by the Counseling committee constituted by the Director, Medical Education & Research, H.P.Shimla.
• The counselling process for all the qualified candidates will be held as per the prescribed schedule which will be notified by the University with the merit list in the H.P. University Auditorium, Shimla-171005 by the category-wise merit list notified by the University/authority.
• No separate call letters will be sent to the qualified applicant for attending the counselling.
• They must bring with Counselling-cum Admission Form along with photocopies duly self-attested of all the required documents/certificates.
