HPU Post Basic B.Sc Results 2022

• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the relevant link of the HPU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Step 3: In doing so, the result shall be displayed on the screen. Candidates can download and take a printout of it.
• Step 4: In the case of merit list, candidates can download the list. For checking the list press Cntrl+ F and type the name.

HPU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2022 Tie-Breaker

There are chances that two or more than two candidates score same marks in the entrance exam. In such a case, to decide the merit of the candidate, the tie-breaker method is used. The merit in this situation is decided by resolving the tie based on the marks obtained by the candidate in order of the Subject-wise Sections of the entrance test. The sequence is as follows. 

• Fundamentals of Nursing,
• Medical-surgical Nursing,
• Psychiatric Nursing,
• Pediatrics Nursing,
• Midwifery & Gynecology and
• Community Health Nursing.

Note: Even if the tie still persists after exhausting the above procedure, then the candidate older in age shall be given preference.

HPU Cut- Off/ Selection Process

To be selected and qualify the examination, HPU has set up a certain limit on the minimum percentages that must be secured by the candidates to be selected. For this candidates can refer to the table below for the Cut-Off percentage.

HPU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2022 Merit List

The candidates are called for the counselling round based on their merit. After the release of the result, a merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s marks in the entrance test. Those whose name is there in the list are the qualifiers of the exam. HPU releases the merit list on the official website as well as on the notice board of the university.

It is important to understand that candidates shall not live in the impression that assigning of the rank in the merit list confers any right for admission. The final selection or admission is made after the candidate’s verification of eligibility is done by checking the original certificates/documents and subject to availability of seat(s) in the concerned quota/category at the time of counselling. In any case, if the candidate is found ineligible then her candidature is cancelled. 

Counselling Procedure 2022

After the results are declared on the official website, the candidates have to then register themselves for the Counselling procedure. Through the counselling, procedure candidates will go through the seat allotment process on the basis of merit. The counselling is conducted by a committee constituted by the Director of Medical Education & Research Himachal Pradesh. Candidates have to be present in person on the day of counselling with the original documents for verification and counselling-cum-admission-form and the expected counselling fee of Rs 100/-. The counselling is conducted in two (2) rounds and admission are given to the candidates as per the availability of seats and fulfilment of eligibility criteria. It must be noted that no separate message or information will be sent for counselling. The dates for all rounds will be declared on the official website itself.
