IBSAT 2027: Application Form, Exam Dates, Syllabus & Eligibility

IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is of 2 hours duration and is aimed at testing the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

IBSAT 2027 Latest Updates

• IBSAT 2023: The IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) for admission to the full-time MBA and PGPM program is scheduled for the last week of December 2023.
• Application Process: Interested candidates can apply for IBSAT admission 2023 online through the official website ibsindia.org by December 16, 2023.
• Registration Fee: To complete the application process, a registration fee of Rs 1,800 needs to be paid.
• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with 50 percent aggregate marks. Scores from CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT, or other state-level entrance exams will also be considered.
• Selection Process: Eligible candidates with valid IBSAT 2027 or other specified entrance exam scores can participate in the selection process. Those who clear the IBSAT 2027 exam will be invited for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
• Test Result: The result for IBSAT exam 2023 will be declared in the first week of January 2024.
• Group Discussions and Interviews: The Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be held in February/March 2024.
• Admission Offers: Admission offers for IBS' 9 campuses are based on performance, including GD, PI, and campus preferences.

IBSAT 2027 Application Form

• The Applicants must go through the Eligibility Criteria & Requirements before going for the registration process.
• Click on the Register Link on IBSAT 2027 website to start the registration process.
• Candidates can register by providing the basic information.
• Registered Candidates will receive an email notification to their registered email id with their application number, password, and the link to complete the application form.
• Once you got registered, Log In using the Login credentials.
• Fill in the remaining details i.e, Personal details, Education Qualifications, Choice of Examination centre and hit "Submit".
• A summary along with the complete amount payable will be presented. You will be redirected to the payment gateway page by clicking on the "Make Payment" link.
• Make Fee Payment via Net banking /Debit card/ Credit card.
• On successful completion of the form and payment, the candidate can download the online application form.
• All future communications will be done only to the registered email ID.

IBSAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test 2023 Eligibility is given below for various offered courses. Candidates should check whether they are eligible or not before applying for the exam. Here is the eligibility for IBSAT:

• Graduation (any discipline) with an aggregate of 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English.
• All Entrants should have completed at least 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
• Candidates not meeting the required eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS marks by 31 May 2023.
• Applicants in their Last year of bachelor’s degree course are also permitted to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations/viva/ assignments) before 31 May 2023.
• The Applicants willing to take admission to PGPM (Post Graduate Program in Management) Program offered by IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bangalore, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune have to appear for IBSAT 2027.

According to the IBS Aptitude Test 2023 Syllabus, candidates must prefer the CAT level to prepare for various topics. The syllabus will include various topics from the subjects of Verbal Ability(VA), Reading Comprehension(RC), Quantitative Ability(QA), Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation(DA & DI). Topics included in the syllabus of IBSAT 2027 are given below in details for various subjects:

• Verbal Ability: Synonyms/Antonyms, Word Relation, Error Spotting, Phrase Replacement/one-word substitute, Fill in the blanks, Jumbled Sentences.
• Reading Comprehension(RC): 3 RCs with a word length of 500+, 1 RCs with a word length of 400+.

IBSAT 2027 Admit Card

Candidates can check the Admit Card of IBSAT 2027 through the below-given details:

• IBS Aptitude Test 2023, Candidates can download the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test 2023 Hall-ticket from the official website using the Application No. & password.
• If slot booking is provided, then candidates have to first book a test slot and then download admit card of IBSAT 2027.
• On the day of the exam, the admit card is to be carried in printed format.
• On the admit card, candidates can check the allotted exam date and time of the exam as per which the students have to appear in the exam.
• The candidates must have to produce Admit Card at the test-centre for writing the exam.
• The admit card is not sent via post and must be downloaded online.

IBSAT 2027 Result

• The result of candidates who appeared for IBSAT is calculated based on the performance of the candidates in the test.
• Consequently, candidates qualified based on IBSAT 2023 / CAT / GMAT / NMAT by GMAC are called directly for the selection process at IBS Hyderabad campus.
• For GD and PI candidates have to be available physically at the intimated centre. 
• There is no option of sending the hard copy of the scorecard through the post. The scorecard consists of the actual marks scored by the candidate in different sections.

IBSAT 2027 Admission Process

The ICFAI University, Dehradun, The ICFAI University, Jaipur and The ICFAI Society accept Scores from 2018 onwards (only the candidates who have not appeared for the selection process in February 2020 are eligible to attend) or IBSAT/CAT/ NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/SNAP/XAT/MAT/CMAT/CET (Maharashtra) and any other State Level Test. for admission.

The candidates who have GMAT / NMAT / CAT scores do not need to appear for IBSAT 2027 and can move to stage 2 if selected.

The selected candidates after stage 1 are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The selection is totally based on the scores of IBSAT 2027 or GMAT / NMAT / CAT.

The final admission is given on the basis of past academic record and performance of the candidates in GD and PI.
