Updated On - August 04 2022 by Srishti Pandey

IBSAT 2022 examination will be held in the last week of December 2022. To prepare for the exam, a candidate must rely on his or her own intellect and knowledge of the themes. The candidate should begin working for at least 3-4 months on average. Every year, between 25,000 and 50,000 applicants take the IBSAT exam, making it a highly competitive exam. Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation are the four areas of the paper. The following are some of the most crucial IBSAT 2022 preparation tips:
  • Every 3-4 days, take a practice test. You may have poor ratings at first, but your performance will improve over time, and you will receive higher scores.
  • Study for at least 5-6 hours each day and review all of the relevant formulas and topics you come across.
  • Give your weak areas more attention and prioritize your preparation accordingly.
  • To ensure optimum retention of what you've learned, get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per day.
  • It is critical to take regular breaks while studying. So, don't spend all of your time studying because it may fatigue you.

Section Wise Preparational Strategy

IBSAT 2022 Verbal Ability Preparation Tips

This component assesses the candidates' ability to communicate in English.

  • The most straightforward strategy to succeed in this area is to increase your vocabulary.
  • Install daily word-suggesting apps on your phone, and keep a thesaurus and dictionary handy for reference.
  • When you have a break, listen to English podcasts; this will help you enhance your vocabulary as well as your speaking skills for the personal interview.
  • Make it a habit to communicate in English.
  • To answer questions, use shortcuts. On many sites, such as Youtube, you can find a variety of shortcuts.
  • Begin reading newspapers on a daily basis.
  • This section will not benefit from memorization; only practice will help you score well.
IBSAT 2022 Preparation Tips for Reading Comprehension
  • Make reading a habit, even if it's just for fun.
  • Every day, read a newspaper and make a note of the paragraphs and your interpretation of them.
  • Before reading the passage, answer the questions. This will help you save time when solving the paper because you will already know what you need to look for.
  • Learn to read between the lines, that is, to decipher the deeper meaning behind the lines.
  • Make a note of the words you don't understand and search up their definitions.
  • For practice, communicate in English with your friends and family.
IBSAT 2022 Quantitative Aptitude Preparation Tips
  • The IBSAT 2022 Quantitative Aptitude exam is entirely dependent on application.
  • If you have difficulty with math, you should practice for at least one hour each day.
  • Make the most of the online resources at your disposal.
  • Learn how to apply shortcuts as well as how to use them.
  • However, don't leave any topic or question type to the end because you'll become confused or overwhelmed.
  • When practicing the questions, be consistent.
  • Avoid using a calculator when practicing and memorize the shortcuts and formulas.
IBSAT 2022 Data Interpretation Preparation Tips
  • First, go over all of the fundamentals. Make sure you understand the essentials, such as graph types, interpretation, and so on.
  • This section is incredibly crucial, so don't skimp on your preparation.
  • Because questions are frequently moderated, this is a scoring section.
  • Read each question carefully, as one omission or mistake can result in the loss of an entire section of questions.
  • Examine past year's papers for various Management entrance exams.
  • To prepare for this section, solve puzzles, sudoku, and other similar brain games.

Tips for IBSAT 2022 Last-Minute Preparation

Make sure you're familiar with the test pattern: Candidates must be very familiar with the structure of the paper in order to avoid any surprises at the test center. Candidates have 140 minutes to answer 120 questions. This implies you have a little more than a minute to respond to each question. Practice accordingly; each question should not take more than a minute to answer.
Stress on crucial subjects: It's not difficult to guess which topics have more weightage based on previous year's questions. The Verbal Ability portion will likely have the most questions, followed by the Reading Comprehension section, Quant, and Data. As a result, be ready.
Revise topics daily: Don't skip over revising topics you're already good at. After learning more, students frequently forget what they already know. If you're using a notebook for planning, go over the contents once.
Maintain a calm demeanor: It is critical to maintain a calm demeanor both before and during the exam. When students are stressed, they frequently forget what they had prepared properly. Remember that fretting needlessly will not solve your problems, but will only make them worse.
Avoid New Topics: If you haven't done so already, it's best to stay away from new topics at the last minute. Instead, go over what you already know because it's impossible to remember what you learned just before the exam. It's pointless to try to cover all available topics for IBSAT Preparation because it's impossible to answer all 140 questions on the paper.
Practice sample exams: Using previous year's question papers and mock tests, you can review all of the topics covered in the test. So, within the time allotted for the exam, complete as many test papers as possible; do not spend more than two hours on each paper.
