Candidates can check the ICAR AICE SRF/JRF PGS Result 2020 by following the steps given below:
Percentile scores are the scores that are obtained by the candidate based on its performance in the entrance examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. The percentile scores will be calculated into 7 decimal places for avoiding the round-lot orders and reduces the ties. Candidate can calculate the score with a simple step.
Candidate Percentile score = 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate/ Total number of the candidates appeared in the ’Session’
When two candidates receive the same number of scores, then the following pattern of tie breaking criteria is followed.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit rank after that only they will be able to register for online counselling. Applicants who do not qualify the exam will not be eligible for counseling and further admission process. Candidates will be called for counselling on the merit rank in the Sub-subject opted for admission and availability of seats in that particular subject in the concerned institute.
The NTA will display the answer key on its Official websites so that candidates can calculate their marks and also challenge the answer key. The answer key will be displayed for a period of 3 days. The candidates can challenge the answer sheet by paying Rs. 1000 through Online mode. The NTA will also display the recorded responses of all the candidates on the NTA website prior to declaration of result. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for three days.
After the candidates who pass the entrance examination and have their name in the merit list will be called for counselling session. There shall be online counselling only for the candidates who will be declared qualified and whose name appears in the merit list. To participate in the counselling program the candidates have to pay a fees through Online mode i.e debit / credit cards. The candidates will have to exercise choices and select the courses and university of their preference. During the time of counselling candidates have to bring their marksheets, domicile certificate, admit card, category certificate etc.
National Testing Agency (NTA) is an autonomous body which conducts various entrance examination for admission/fellowship courses in higher educational institutions. It has been approved by the Union Council of Ministers . NTA was established in 2017 in the month of November. The main objective of NTA is to undertake research on educational, professional and testing system to identify gaps in the knowledge systems and take steps for bridging them.
