ICAR AICE SRF/JRF Result 2020: Selection Process, How to check?

ICAR AICE SRF/JRF PGS Result 2020 will be released by National Testing Agency (NTA), Delhi, on the official website-ntaicar.nic.in. The result is expected to be declared in the first week of October 2020. Candidates who appeared for the exam can thereafter check their result by entering in their registration/seat number etc. The merit list will be declared based on candidates performance in entrance test. Then after the declaration of the result those candidates who were able to make through the exam will have to appear for counselling. Candidates must note the following points for the ICAR AICE SRF/JRF Results 2020.

  • The result of ICAR AICE JRF/SRF is likely to bbe released on the first week of October 2020.
  • The result of  ICAR SRF/JRF would be released on the Official website of NTA. So candidates are required to be vigilant on the website.
  •  There will not be any separate notification for non selection be sent to any candidate.
  • No representation for re-evaluation/re-checking of answer scripts shall be entertained after the declaration of result.

How to Download ICAR AICE SRF/JRF Result 2020?

Candidates can check the ICAR AICE SRF/JRF PGS Result 2020 by  following the steps given below:

  • Candidates have to visit ntaicar.nic.in or click on the direct link which will be provided above.
  • Navigate to the relevant link “AICE SRF/JRF PGS 2020 Result”.
  • Enter the required details like registration number and password.
  • Candidates will be redirected to the result page and result will appear on the screen.
  • Download or take a print out and keep it with you for future purpose.

ICAR AICE SRF/JRF PGS 2020 Percentile Score

Percentile scores are the scores that are obtained by the candidate based on its performance in the entrance examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. The percentile scores will be calculated into 7 decimal places for avoiding the round-lot orders and reduces the ties. Candidate can calculate the score with a simple step.

      Candidate Percentile score = 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate/ Total number of the candidates appeared in the ’Session’

Tie Breaking Criteria

When two candidates receive the same number of scores, then the following pattern of tie breaking criteria is followed.

  •  the candidate scoring less negative marks will be rated higher in merit
  • the candidate higher in age would be rated higher in merit.
  • the candidate with higher score in Bachelor’s / UG examination would be rated higher in merit.

 Selection Method

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit rank after that only they will be able to register for online counselling. Applicants who do not qualify the exam will not be eligible for counseling and further admission process. Candidates will be called for counselling on the merit rank in the Sub-subject opted for admission and availability of seats in that particular subject in the concerned institute.


The NTA will display the answer key on its Official websites so that candidates can calculate their marks and also challenge the answer key. The answer key will be displayed for a period of 3 days. The candidates can challenge the answer sheet by paying Rs. 1000 through Online mode. The NTA will also display the recorded responses of all the candidates on the NTA website prior to declaration of result. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for three days.

Counselling Procedure of ICAR AICE SRF/JRF

After the candidates who pass the entrance examination and have their name in the merit list will be called for counselling session. There shall be online counselling only for the candidates who will be declared qualified and whose name appears in the merit list. To participate in the counselling program the candidates have to pay a fees through Online mode i.e debit / credit cards. The candidates will have to exercise choices and select the courses and university of their preference. During the time of counselling candidates have to bring their marksheets, domicile certificate, admit card, category certificate etc.
