JCECE (LE) ECE 2022 or Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (Lateral Entry) (JCECEB) will be administered by  the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The exam is offered once a year at the state level. This exam is designed to enroll qualified candidates for admission to Engineering Courses (Lateral Entry) in the state of Jharkhand. Candidates who want to apply for the said examination must fill out an application form, but first they must check the eligibility criteria to see if they are eligible. JCECE (LE) ECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the form, aspirants should first check their eligibility for JCECE (LE) ECE 2022. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The applicant must have passed the Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent for candidates from the reserved category) in the relevant area of Engineering / Technology.
  • Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university as defined by the UGC, with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent for candidates from the reserved category), and have completed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
  • Provided, however, that candidates from the B.Sc. Stream must pass the first-year subjects Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics.
  • Provided, however, that aspirants from the B.Sc. Stream would be considered only after the Diploma applicants have filled the supernumerary seats in this category.
  • There are no age limitations, either minimum or maximum. Applicants of all ages are welcome to apply.

Question Paper Format – Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
Marking Scheme - 1 point is awarded for each correct answer.
Negative Marking - 0.25 points would be removed for each incorrect response.

JCECE (LE) ECE 2022 Admit Card

The following is important information about the JCECE (LE) Admit Card 2022:

  • Candidates will be able to download the JCECE (LE) ECE admission card from the JCECEB's official website soon.
  • Applicants who have successfully submitted their application form will only be able to download the hall ticket.
  • The admit card must be carried in the exam hall since no applicant will be allowed to take the exam if it is not.
  • Only the hard copy of any government-issued identity verification should be carried.
  • The admit card must be kept by the candidate until the admissions process is concluded.

JCECE (LE) ECE 2022 Results

The JCECE (LE) 2022 Result will be published on the official website. The following details about the outcomes will be provided:

  • Candidates who have taken the exam can get their scorecards by logging in to the website.
  • A merit list will be created based on the candidate's performance.
  • The cutoff will be announced following the announcement of the results.
  • Candidates who meet the qualifications must attend counselling. They can sign up for counselling using the official website.
