• Educational Qualification –Aspirants must have passed in any one of the following diploma courses with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories):-

Computer Sc. & Engineering, Computer Application, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, E.I. & C., Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining, I.T., Production Engineering, Ceramics Tech., Rock Process Tech., Forest Product Processing Tech., Drilling Tech., Arch. Assistantship, Chemical Engineering, Environmental & Pollution Control, Civil, Civil (RT), Manufacturing.

  2. 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.

• Age Criteria: Candidates of any age can apply for the exam.

About JCECEB

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state.
