About JEST

Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is conducted jointly by several premier institutes such as IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc, under the supervision of TIFR. The exam was conducted on 16 February 2020. Candidates who want to pursue a PhD or Integrated PhD course in one of the participating institutes in the following streams have to qualify in the JEST exam.

The Institute has released the list of 37 exam centres for JEST 2020 on its official website. This is a national-level exam and was take place in offline mode.
