JEST 2021 Rank predictor to take admission in the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) in PhD or Integrated PhD courses. It is an innovative tool curated by Entrancezone to predict the probable rank for the candidates who are aspiring. The rank predictor helps to predict rank based on previous year data and trends. The rank predictor helps candidates to know the predictable/ actual score even before the result is declared, the rank predictor tells the expected rank against their scored marks in the examination. Following are the details candidate's needs to fill while predicting their rank:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Total No of questions
Part A- 15
Part B- 10
Part C- 25
Part A: (+3) for every correct answer and (-1) for every wrong answer
Part B: (+3) for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
Part C: (+1) for every correct answer and (1/3) marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

JEST 2020 cutoff marks will depend on the following factors:
Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is conducted jointly by several premier institutes such as IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc, under the supervision of TIFR. The exam was conducted on 16 February 2020. Candidates who want to pursue a PhD or Integrated PhD course in one of the participating institutes in the following streams have to qualify in the JEST exam.
The Institute has released the list of 37 exam centres for JEST 2020 on its official website. This is a national-level exam and was take place in offline mode.
