RIMC 2023 also known as Rashtriya Indian Military College offers admissions to only boys candidates in the 8th standard. If candidates want to get admissions to RIMC, then they have to qualify for the written examination and the interview round. The exam is conducted at the National level. There will be two sessions of the exam one in July and the other in January. Only those boys candidates who have passed the seventh standard will be eligible to get admission to RIMC. RIMC 2023 Application Form
The application form for RIMC 2023has been closed on the 2nd week of July. Those candidates who have to submit the application form before the last date will be eligible to give the exam
- Candidates can collect prospectus cum application form and booklet of old question papers from Rashtriya Indian Military College(RIMC), Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin- 248003.
- To obtain the application form, there are the following online and offline methods.
Online mode: Candidates can obtain the prospectus cum application form of RIMC 2023and booklet of the old question papers making a payment of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates and Rs. 555/- for SC or ST candidates from RIMC official website. After making the payment, candidates will get all things through the speed post.
Demand Draft: If Candidates want to make payment through DD then have to send the written request with the DD of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates and Rs. 555/- for SC or ST candidates along with their cast certificate. The demand draft is to be made in favour of “The Commandant RIMC Dehradun”, Drawee Branch, State Bank of India(SBI), Tel Bhavan, Dehradun (Band Code-01576), Uttarakhand. Candidates must check that the address should be typed or written clearly in capital letters with the pin code and contact number.
Documents to be attached with RIMC Application form:
The following are the documents that candidates have to attach with the RIMC Application form.
- The candidate must have two copies of the application form.
- Two passports sized colour photographs
- Domicile Certificate of a candidate
- Birth Certificate
- SC or ST Certificate
- Original certificate from the principal with the attested photograph displaying the date of birth(DOB) and in which class the students are studying.
RIMC 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of RIMC 2023is listed below.
- Mode of Exam: Pen and paper-based test(Offline)
- The medium of exam: Hindi or English
- Subjects: English written paper, Mathematics written paper, General knowledge written paper, interview(only for those who have qualified for the exam)
- Maximum marks: 450(including 50 marks of interview round)
- Interview round: The interview date will be released by the authority after the exam is conducted. The interview will be conducted for only those candidates who will clear the exam.

About RIMC
Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) is situated in Dehradun (Uttrakhand). RIMC is an Inter-Service Category college with ‘A’ establishment, administered through the Director-General of Military Training, Army Headquarters. This college conducts an entrance test for admission in the 8th class for only boys candidates at the national level. The purpose of this Institution is to provide Indian boys with suitable education and training facilities to ensure a high passing rate for Indians being sent to the Royal Military College, Sandhurst.

Kindly Inform date of exam well in time at list before 1 month or 20 days. Also intimate about date of exam and releasing of admit card through SMS or email .
