SSC CHSL 2023 Exam Schedule for Tier-1 has been released. The exam is going to be held from 24 May to 10 June 2023. SSC CHSL 2023 (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination) will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, Government of India. SSC CHSL examination is a National Level Entrance Test which is organised to recruit the candidate for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ (DEO) Grade 'A' in all over India.   • The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates for various exams at ssc.nic.in.
  • According to the SSC calendar, the Multi-Tasking (NT-Staff) Examination, 2022 will be conducted from May 2 to May 19 and again from June 13 to June 20, 2023.

Mode of Payments
  • Online mode: All the candidates can pay the application form fee through the online mode via UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, BHIM UPI, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit.
  • Offline Mode: The candidate can pay the application form fee offline by paying the fee in cash at any SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

SSC CHSL 2023 Eligibility Criteria

All the interested candidates are advised to check the CHSL 2023 Eligibility Criteria before starting the application process. The brief information regarding the SSC CHSL 2023 eligibility criteria are given in the list below :

  • All the candidates must fulfil all the eligibility criteria to apply for the CHSL 2023 application form.
  • If any applicant is found later who didn't fulfil all eligibility criteria will be rejected later.

  • Nationality / Citizenship - A candidate seeking to apply must be either:
    • An Indian citizen 
    • A Nepalese
    • A Bhutanese
    • The candidate belongs to a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 01 January 1962, to become an Indian resident.
    • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from  Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia to permanently settle in India.
  • SSC CHSL Age Limit 
    • Should have attained the age of minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as of 01 January 2023 ( Candidates born not before 02-01-1993 and not later than 01-01-2002).
  • The requirement of Education Qualification 
    • For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The Applicants must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
    • For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): The applicants must have passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics (PCM) as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

SSC CHSL 2023 Admit Card

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier-II Syllabus

Here is the SSC CHSL Tier-II 2023 Syllabus is Given in the list below:

  • Tier-II is a descriptive exam that is designed to test the written skills of the applicants in the English/Hindi language.
  • The Tier-II Paper would comprise writing of an Application/Letter writing of approximately 150-200 words and an Essay of 200-250 words.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33%.
  • The best way to prepare for the Tier-II exam is to read lots of articles from various newspapers for the candidates.
  • Apart from this, the candidate must be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Syllabus

Tier-III is a skill test and typing test and the instruction about Tier-III is given below:

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator(DEO) will be of:

  • Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer of the applicant.
  • The duration of the Tier-III Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes.

SSC CHSL 2023 Exam Instruction

The applicants applying for CHSL 2023 exam must go through the following instructions:

  • The applicants are advised to reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the examination start.
  • Admit card /hall ticket issued by the SSC must be carried by the applicants during the examination.
  • During the exam, Invigilator can request the verification of the CHSL 2023 admit card.
  • The candidates are not allowed to carry restricted things like slide rulers, text material (printed/written), log tables, electronic devices in the examination hall.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for SSC CHSL 2023

 In cases If any two or more candidates secure equal marks in Tier-I+Tier-II examination then, the tie will be resolved by the following methods which are given in the list below:

  • The candidate having Higher marks in Tier-II will be considered first in the comparison of other candidates.
  • If the tie exists then, the candidate's age will be considered, the elder candidate in age will be considered over the younger candidate in the ranking.
  • And is the tie still there then, alphabetical order will be considered in which names of the candidates appear.

SSC CHSL 2023 Documents Verification

After the result will be declared candidates will be called for the document verification process. All the candidates qualified for Document Verification will be required to appear for the same along with the following documents in original:

  • Candidates will show two recent colour photographs of the passport size and one initial valid Photo ID evidence
  • Submit a copy of the Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate
  • A copy of the Educational Qualification Certificate
  • Order/ letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date)
  • Caste/ Category Certificate, if belongs to reserved categories
  • Relevant Certificate if seeking any age relaxation
  • Persons with Disabilities Certificate in the required format, if applicable
  • No Objection Certificate, in the case already employed in Government/ Government undertakings
  • A candidate who claims a change in name after matriculation on marriage or remarriage or divorce

Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
