Thapar University Result 2022 will be released online for all courses. A different merit list will be prepared by the University for the candidates who are applying for admission based on GATE/NEET/JEE Mains scorecard.

• The merit list/result will be published in July 2022.
• Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for counselling & then the admission will be given.
• For PhD admission they need to qualify the entrance exam after that result will be displayed. Those who will qualify will only be called for the counselling process.
• The complete authority will not send the scorecard via post to any individual.

TIET Result 2022 Tie-Breaking Rule

In case of a tie among candidates securing equal marks in the merit list of the PhD entrance exam, the same will be broken in accordance with the following criteria:

• Candidate senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If the tie will still persist, a candidate getting a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall be ranked higher in order of merit.
• In the case of a tie in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination also, a candidate securing higher percentage of marks in matriculation/secondary or equivalent examination shall rank higher in order of merit.
