UPCATET 2020 Application form last date has been extended from 23 April to 21 June 2020. It is a State Level exam orgainsed by the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut in rotation to provide admission in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes. Interested candidates can fill the application form before or till the last date of UPCATET 2020 on the official website. Exam will be conducted in offline pen-paper mode. Candidates have to register for counselling after result declarations in order to get successful admission. UPCATET 2020 Application Form

The UPCATET 2020 online form has been released on the official website. The last date of Application submission has been extended by the competent authority.  Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the UPCATET 2020 application form. However, application form won't be available in offline mode. Candidates have to submit the application form in online mode only along with the prescribed application fee. The revised date of Application form submission is from 15 May 2020.

Steps to fill the Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Candidates needs to visit the official website and click on the direct link provided by the page to fill the application form.

Step 2: Registration and filling of Application Form

  • Enter details like personal details, contact details and qualification achievements.
  • Along with, upload the scanned copy of photograph, signature and thumb impression. 

Step 3: Fee Payment

  • Candidates can submit their application fees after 24 hours of registration.
  • Also, candidates have to choose the mode of payment as per their choice.

Step 4: Print the Application Form

  • Candidates must have a print out of the application form after the registration process is complete as it will be required for the future reference.

Age Limit

  • For courses BVS and C & AH minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31, 2019; and 05 years of relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
  • For the other course, the minimum age limit of the candidates is 16 years and maximum 22 years; and the relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST OBC candidates. 

UPACTET 2020 Admit Card

UPACTET 2020 Admit card will be available on the official website. Candidates ble to download easily.

  • However, no admit cards will be sent to candidates through postal or courier services.
  • Candidate must also bring a Photo ID proof like, Aadhaar card, driving license, PAN card, voter ID or Notarized Affidavit with photo in which the photo of applicant is attached and visible. 
  • Candidates are advised to download two copies of UPCATET 2020 Admit Card as one of the copies need be self-attested and deposited to the invigilator for their signature & which will be preserved and required during counselling procedure and another one has to be carried along on the date of the examination with the aspirant.

  • Also, Enter the required references i.e. Class group, Challan number/ registration number/ roll number and Date of birth.

UPCATET 2020 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

UPCATET 2020 Exam Pattern is different for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

  • For UG programs, there are four groups of UPCATET question paper: PCB, PCM, PAG, and PHS
  • For PG programs, the exam pattern for MSc Home Science, MSc Veterinary Science, MBA Agriculture Business and MSc Agriculture/ Horticulture is based on the syllabus of the concerned subject in graduation.
  • The paper comprises multiple choice questions.
  • There is a total of 200 objective type questions and the total marks allocated for the paper is 600.

Exam Pattern for MBA (Agriculture Business)

  • Students have to appear for the screening test which consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Time duration to complete the test is 2 hours
  • Those students who have qualified the exam will be shortlisted based on the merit list for Group Discussion and Personal Interview
  • Group Discussion and Personal Interview shall carry 50 and 150 marks.

UPCATET 2020 Preparation Tips

UPCATET 2020 Preparation Tips are given below:

  • Make notes of everything as it is easier to refer to notes than going through all over again.
  • Daily revision is an important aspect as everyone tends to forget or the memory of what they studied becomes faded which needs to be polished time and again.
  • Ample amount of sleep is a must.
  • Give time for recreation.
  • Solving questions will give a reality check of the preparation and scope of improvement is there if needed.
  • Keep calm at the time of examination and focus.

UPCATET 2020 result will be released after the commencement of the exam. UPCATET 2020 Counselling

UPCATET 2020 counselling procedure will commence from 12 June 2020 onwards. No call letter will be sent to applicants individually. Admission will be done based on merit list i.e. the marks acquired in UPCATET 2020.

  • After UPCATET results are declared, all qualifying candidates are allotted seats in their respective course and university through counselling.
  • Seats are allotted based on merit-cum-reservation-cum-choice available at the time of counselling.
  • For UPCATET 2020 counselling, candidates can download their counselling letters from the official website of the exam after the results are declared.
  • UPCATET counselling letter would contain details such as date, time, and place of the counselling session.
  • All candidates need to appear for the counselling as per the schedule mentioned in the letter.

Documents Required for UPCATET 2020 Counselling

Documents that candidates need to bring at the time of UPCATET 2020 counselling are as mentioned below. It may be noted that candidates need to carry five sets of all the documents.

Downloaded copy of the online application form duly attested by Registrar/ Principal/ Dean of last attended college/ institution

Attested photocopies of Class X and XII certificates and mark sheets

Original and attested photocopies of marks sheets and certificates of Bachelor and Master Degree courses

Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh state issued by the competent authority

Original copy of sport weightage certificate

Original copy of character and conduct certificate from the Head of last attended college/ institution

Five passport size photographs with name and roll number written on the back

Original copy of OBC category certificate issued after March 31, 2020, or valid on counselling date

An affidavit accounting for discontinuity of more than three months after leaving the college/ institution last attended

Original copy of transfer/ migration certificate

Two bank drafts of INR 500 (as counselling fee) and INR 5,000 (as initiation fee)

 

Candidates who do not turn up when their name is called will be given another chance at the end of the day. However, such candidates “can claim only the Programmes in which seats are available at that time and as per their qualifications/ groups,” informs the official website.

Note: If a candidate fails to submit any certificate mentioned above or counselling or advance institution fee, their admission will be cancelled.
