JEE Main 2020 Application Form for April session has been released by NTA on 19 May 2020. The JEE Main examination is a national level exam conducted by NTA in the month of January and April. It is conducted twice a year for admission into B.E, B.Tech, B.Plan, and B.Arch in prestigious colleges of India. The last date to fill the online application form is 24 May 2020. Candidates may check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.  The JEE Main Exam will be conducted from 18 – 23 July 2020.   • Candidate’s Mobile Number.
  • Recent B/W Passport Size Photograph.
  • Scanned Signature.
  • The photograph must have the candidate’s name and date on it.
  • Also, Candidates should keep the details of the qualifying exam (XIIth) handy.

  • While registering, candidates should choose a password according to the specified rules.

JEE Main 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The vital information regarding the JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria is given below:

    • Qualification: Candidates must have qualified class 12 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
    • For B.Tech (JEE Main Paper 1): Candidates must have passed with 5 subjects with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
    • For B. Arch (JEE Main Paper 2): Candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 50% aggregate marks.
    • Age Limit: There is no such age limit to apply for the JEE Main 2020 exam.
    • Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for JEE Main 2020 exam.

How to Fill the JEE Main April Exam Application Form Online?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill the JEE Main 2020 application form.

Follow the following Four Steps to Apply Online:

Step-1: Fill in the online Application Form and Note down the system generated Application Number
Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate`s Photograph (between 10 kb–200 kb) and Candidate‟s Signature (between
(4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Step-3: Make a payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of fee paid.
Step-4: Submit the form and Print at least four printouts of Confirmation Page after submission of the form.

Acknowledgement Slip and Application Number:

Finally, Candidates will get an Acknowledgement Page and Application Number after successful submission of all the details. And, the applicants must keep the acknowledgement slip properly for future reference. However, it should NOT be sent to JEE main authorities by post.

 The entire application process of JEE (Main) April 2020 is online, including uploading of scanned images, Payment of Fees and Printing of Confirmation page. Therefore, candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation page to NTA through Post/Fax/ By Hand.

The important guidelines regarding the JEE Main 2020 application form are given below:

  • Online Application Form Submission must be done by accessing the NTA website only.
  • Firstly, Aadhaar is a compulsory requirement for filling the JEE Main 2020 Application Form.
  • Further, only one application form from a candidate is acceptable. If any candidate tries to do otherwise, his or her application will be immediately cancelled.
  • Also, the details required to be filled in JEE Main 2020 application form must be checked properly before submission.
  • In the case of any difficulty, the candidates can contact the facilitation centres authorized by the board.
  • Finally, the list of facilitation centre is available online as well as in the information bulletin. And, the assistance is free for all the candidates.

How to check the status of the Application Fee?

Te details for checking the status of the application fee are given below:

  • Candidates can check the status of the fees paid at the JEE Main official website managed by NTA.
  • Then, upon a successful fee transaction, an Acknowledgement Page will be generated. Also, the Applicants need to take a printout of the same.
  • Further, If the applicant has done the fee payment using credit/debit card and the status is not OK.
  • But, in such case, the transaction failed and applicants need to make the payment again.
  • Also, In case, of payment using E-challan, if the confirmation page is not generated then the candidate must ask the bank official to update the FEE status on the website.
