JEE Main 2021 Postponed Due to COVID-19. NTA has postponed the JEE Main April/May sessions exam due to coronavirus. The exam was scheduled to be held from 27 to 30 April and 24 to 28 May 2021. The National Testing Agency will release the fresh schedule soon. The exam is likely to be held in July/August 2021. JEE Main 2021 exam dates rescheduling is a result of the government of India’s preventive step to stop the spreading of coronavirus infection.

Since JEE Mains may require travel by the candidates appearing for the exams to different towns and the dates may clash with the rescheduled CBSE and other board exams. Is there any chances for cancellation of JEE Main April/May 2021 attempt?

There is no such official statement by the examination conducting body i.e. National Testing Agency. Be positive and stay calm while preparing for the national level entrance examination. Many students appear for JEE Main April attempt so the government may not cancel the examination accordingly.

Yes, The National Testing Agency has released an official statement regarding the situation. The students are advised that they should wait for the new exam dates from the authority.

  • Not just the JEE Main 2021 April/May exam, but many other national level entrance examinations such as VITEEE, BITSAT, MET, SRMJEEE are about to be conducted in the next two months.
  • Since there is no such official news regarding the postponement by the authorities, we can just assume that the authorities might not change the dates.
