CGPSC 2023: Application form, Admit Card, Exam date, Result, How to Check Rank List?

CGPSC 2023 application form will be released in December 2022(Tentativey). The result for CGPSC 2022 has been released on the official website. A total of 2548 candidates have qualified for the mains exam which is to be conducted from May 26 to 29, 2022. CGPSC exam is conducted by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) the state level civil service exam to recruit candidates in various state administrative fields. Graduation is the minimum qualification to apply for CGPSC. The process of the application takes place in an online mode for various posts. Seats are filled for the posts such as medical officer, assistant,, Lecturer, Assistant, Research Officers, etc.  CGPSC consists mainly of three phases for the selection of the candidates i.e Prelims Exam, Mains Exam and Interview. CGPSC Important Date 2023

The official notification regarding the 2023 session is not yet out. The exam date of CGPSC will be announced on the official CGPSC website soon. The division of the CGPSC exams is as follows: 
  1. Prelims Exam: Objective-type questions. 
  2. Mains Exam: Descriptive paper (Only those who qualify for the Prelims exam are allowed for Mains)
  3. Interview: The candidates who appeared for the mains exam are called for an interview.

CGPSC Application Form 2023

The candidates who are willing to participate in the CGPSC, have to fill the form online. The process of the CGPSC Application form takes place in online mode on the official site of CGPSC. Candidates have to go through various steps in order to complete the application process. They are advised to keep the documents and the scanned images to fill the form. The application fee differs as per the category. Make sure to make the payment on time because without the application fee, the form is incomplete. 
Let's check the process to apply for CGPSC. 

Step 1: Registration 

  • Visit the official site of CGPSC
  • Locate and click on the “apply for CGPSC 2023 exam”
  • Enter the details such as Candidate’s Name, Gender, Mobile NoEmail Id etc to make yourself registered. 
  • Username and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered mobile no., and email id. 

Step 2: Fill the application form 

  • Now login into the account using the login credentials such as Username and Password.
  • Complete the process by providing the educational details and other information. 

Step 3: Upload the documents

  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature. Make sure that the scanned images are in the prescribed format.  The size of the file must not exceed 100 KB and the file must be in JPG format.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  • The candidates have to make the payment of the application fee in an online mode. This is mandatory for the candidates to complete the process. The payment can be done through net banking/debit card/credit card.

Guidelines For Applicants

Rejection will take place if the below things happen and candidates cannot raise any objection regarding the matter: 
  • Candidates do not fill up the form or answer sheet as per instructions.
  • The Form filled is incorrect.
  • Writing or pasting anything on restricted areas like Bar Code and Battery Marks on OMR Sheets. 
  • Candidates do not paste their photograph on a sheet properly in the proper place.
  • Candidate’s photograph spaced out (apart) from the sheet due to improper pasting.
  • The signature is not put up in proper places.
  •  Putting any symbol or special mark anywhere on the sheet.

CGPSC Application Form Correction 2023

After the successful completion of the application process, the commission activates the link for the application correction window. A limited amount of time is provided to make the correction in the form. This is the one-time opportunity provided to the registered candidates to make changes in their application form. Not all the details can be corrected, so be attentive while filling the CGPSC application form. 

CGPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023

Aspirants have to fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to fill the CGPSC application form. Those who lack eligibility, their form will be rejected. Hence check the eligibility requirement before applying for the exam.:
Nationality: 
  • A citizen of India. 
  • Must hold the domicile of Chhattisgarh. (Other state students can also apply but they will be put under the general category).
Age Criteria:
  • Candidates must not be less than 21 years
  • The age limit is 30 years.

CGPSC Admit Card 2023

The CGPSC hall ticket will be available in an online mode at the official site. Only the registered candidates will get access to download the admit card. The candidates need to enter the login credentials in order to have the CGPSC admit card. Admit card is a very important document that students need to carry on the day of the exam and keep it for future purposes. Lists of information available in the admit card such as Candidate’s Name, Gender, D.O.B, Exam timing, Exam Venue, Correspondence Address etc. No one will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the CGPSC hall ticket.

CGPSC Previous Years Papers

The candidates preparing for the exam are advised to solve the previous years question paper. There are many beneficial aspects of solving the papers such as:
  • Candidates get well equipped with the types of questions asked in the exam.
  • They can make predictions regarding what kind of questions can be asked in the present session. 
  • While solving the paper, they learn about time management  (Only 2 hrs for Prelims and 3 hrs for Mains).  

CGPSC Result 2023

The declaration of the CGPSC result will take place in an online mode at the official site. Results come out after each phase of the exam. But the final merit list comes out after the successful completion of the interview round.  The result will be out in the pdf form and candidates can check their name, roll no.
