Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (D.El.Ed) CET is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE). The candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent exam can apply for HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET 2023. The test is conducted for admission in a 2 years D.El.Ed course. The test is to be conducted offline on July 2023 (tentatively). Candidates need to attempt 100 questions in 2 hours. Those who qualify the exam will be offered admission in Govt. institutes & privately affiliated institutes. In order to apply online for the HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET 2023 application form, the candidates must visit the official website (hpbose.org). They must provide all the required information, upload documents & pay the registration fee. After candidates have successfully registered themselves, they can take out a printout of the confirmation for future purposes. Steps To Apply Online For HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET 2023 Application Form
In order to register successfully, the candidates must follow certain steps. We have provided information related to the same below.
- Firstly, the candidate must submit the registration form & subsequently obtain the application number.
- Then, with the help of the application number & date of birth, they must sign in & upload images.
- Thereafter, pay the application form registration fee.
- Finally print out the confirmation page.
NOTE: Candidates need not send out any hard copies of the application form by post.
HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must satisfy their eligibility before appearing. Also, they must be personally responsible in case they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria. Furthermore, the eligibility of the candidates will be finally verified at the time of counseling/screening.We have provided details of the same below.
- The candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in class 12th exam or its equivalent examination.
- The candidates appearing for Class 12th or its equivalent examination are also eligible, however, they have to produce an original certificate of Class 12th or its equivalent examination at the time of counselling/screening.
Relaxation
The State Government provided 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH students, whilst qualifying minimum education degree.
Age Limit
In order to apply for HPBOSE D.El.Ed 2023 the candidate must be in between the age group of 17-32, on the date of the conduct of D.El.Ed. CET 2023. However, relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is given to the reserved categories’ candidates as per the existing rules and regulations. There will be no upper age limit in case of Ex-servicemen candidates only.

HPBOSE D.El.ED CET 2023 Qualifying Marks
The candidates must possess knowledge of the qualifying marks before sitting for the exam. The minimum passing marks for CET D.EI.Ed 2023 are –
- 50% minimum pass marks for General Category Candidates i.e. 50 marks out of 100.
- 45% minimum pass marks for Reserved Category Candidates i.e. 45 marks out of 100.
- 35% for sports persons (State & National level only) i.e. 35 marks out of 100.

In order to download the HPBOSE D.EL.ED admit card, candidates must provide their application number along with DOB. Admit card is an important document, since it contains information pertinent to the candidate as well as the exam. Therefore, the candidates must check it carefully after downloading.
