The candidates can check a few important points related to the JKPET entrance test 2022 below in the given points:

• The result will be published in two local dailies and will also be uploaded on the J&K board's official web portal.
• It will not send the scorecard to any individual via post.
• The result will be displayed in the pdf form, hence no login will be required to check the same.
• A merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10th class) by the candidates, in this case, the entrance examination is not conducted for any reason.
• If the entrance examination is conducted, the candidates will be selected for the programme depending on their performance at the entrance test and eligibility.
• The Board shall prepare a list in order of inter-se merit of candidates in the entrance test in descending order for the general category and similarly for each reserved category separately.
• In case the number of candidates belonging to a reserved category is less than the number of seats available for the category, the resultant vacancies shall be filled from amongst the candidates figuring in the open merit category strictly in order of merit.

JKPET Inter-Se-Merit 2022

For the purposes of seat allotment to the reserved category candidates in Government Polytechnic Colleges, inter-se-merit within each reserved category shall be taken into consideration in case two or more candidates have obtained the same number of marks in the entrance test.

1. Mathematics marks of the Entrance Test will be considered.
2. If ties still persist then the marks obtained in Physics of the entrance test will be taken into consideration for tie-breaking.
3. Marks obtained in Chemistry of the Entrance Test will be given priority if marks obtained in booth Mathematics and Physics components are equal.
4. Candidate older in age if marks obtained in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are the same.

JKPET Counselling 2022

After PET 2022 results will be disclosed, qualified candidates will be called for the counseling round for the seat allocation & documentation according to the marks obtained in the entrance examination. The details of the counseling will be published on the official website of the board.
