Jharkhand TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria has been changed recently. Test known as JTET is a state-level entrance examination for teachers. The test is important for all applicants who want to get Teacher jobs in government schools. This test is conducted in two papers. Paper 1 for Class 1 to Class 5 class Teachers and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8 Teachers. JAC TET was conducted by State governments in Jharkhand to hire quality teachers for Government Schools.
The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET 2022) will be organized by Jharkhand Academic Council to test the ability of the appearing candidates as government teachers. The interested candidates can apply for the JTET 2022 through the application form. The notification of the registration and availability of the form will soon be released. The JTET will consist of two papers- Paper 1 (for primary teachers) and Paper 2 (for upper primary teachers). The candidates can opt for either or both papers as per their interest and eligibility.

JTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria UPDATE-- Candidates belonging to the “General” caste category must now pass their matriculation (10th) and inter examination (12th) from the state of Jharkhand in order to be eligible to appear for the JTET 2022. The other category candidates are exempted from this condition.
JTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be between twenty-one to thirty-five years. Age relaxation is provided to reserved candidates as per govt. rules & regulations.
Educational Qualification for Class I-V:
- Candidates ought to have obtained a minimum of 45% marks for the security of senior secondary post-approval and elementary education obligatory and minimum 2 years.
- Candidates are required to pass the Senior Secondary examination with minimum of 50% marks at least or completed last semester or completed their bachelor’s Degree with elementary education.
- Those candidates who completed the Senior Secondary examination he/she with scoring a minimum of 50% marks or completing their bachelor degree and final semester pass out candidates additionally applicable and 2 years diploma in elementary education and alternative education they also fit to be examined.
Educational Qualification for Class VI-VIII:
- Graduate students in any subject solely they’ll eligible to apply for JTET together with a diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course.
- Those who have to appear or completed their B.Ed are additional eligible and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks.
- The candidates who have done or appearing within the B.Sc.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / four year BA are able to apply for the same.
- Candidates who have done his/her B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) / with 50% B.A. (Ed.) in BA OR B.Sc. are appropriate to fill the JAC TET 2022 form.
JTET 2022 Application Form
The eligible candidates can apply for the JTET after the form is made available online. The candidates will have to enter their personal and academic details in the application form. Before making the final submission of the form, the candidates must cross-check the details entered by them because any untrue/incorrect information in the form can lead to cancellation of the candidature. The application form can be submitted along with the application fee of Rs 500/- for general candidates and Rs 250/- for reserved candidates.
