PUMDET Exam is only held once a year for admission to Presidency University. The exam will not be given more than once under any circumstances. The PUMDET 2023 is an objective test in which pupils are given four options for a question and must choose the correct one. An OMR sheet, or Optical Machine Response Sheet, will be given to the students. The kids will have to choose one option from four by darkening the corresponding circle. PUMDET 2023 Exam Pattern

All exam questions in every subject will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options for each question. Each paper will include 50 questions with a maximum score of 100 and a time limit of 90 minutes. Except for language topics like Hindi and Bengali, the PUMDET test structure requires all questions to be answered in English. The PUMDET consists of four-option multiple-choice questions (MCQs). On an OMR sheet, candidates must indicate the correct answer.

PUBDET 2023 Marking Scheme

In the PUBDET exam, an aspirant will be awarded 2 marks for each correct answer marked, and 12 marks will be removed from an aspirant's total score for each incorrect response marked. If an applicant does not mark any response to a question, he or she would receive zero points. According to the official website, "any combination of response containing more than one option will be declared incorrect and will receive -1/2 (25 percent negative) marks."

Things to Keep in Mind for PUMDET 2023

  • Before taking the PUBDET entrance exam, candidates should thoroughly review the topic syllabus.
  • On the OMR sheet, you must answer the questions. Candidates are advised to correctly fill in the answer dots.
  • Candidates must use a black/blue ballpoint pen to darken the circle.
  • The answer will be ruled invalid if the circle is not correctly filled.
  • In the OMR sheet, the candidate cannot mark more than one circle.
    Candidates are urged to arrive early for the exam and to have their admission cards with them.

PUMDET 2023 Admit Card

The conducting authority, WBJEEB, will release the PUMDET 2023 Admit Card. Candidates can review the following crucial information on their hall ticket:

  • Only on the official website will the authority distribute the hall ticket in an online format.
  • To log in, candidates must use their registration ID and password.
  • It is recommended that candidates print their admission cards for the entrance exam.
  • It is necessary to double-check all of the details.
  • If applicants discover an inaccuracy, they should immediately notify the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, via e-mail.
  • Email must be sent to the address provided.

PUMDET 2023 Result 

Candidates should be aware that the authorities will only post the scorecard online; no other alternative will be available. The following is detailed information on the PUMDET Result 2023:

  • The conducting authorities will post the results on the official website in the form of a Rank Card..
  • The rank card contains information such as the student's rank and total marks in the admission exam.
  • Candidates must log in using their credentials to view the results.
  • The merit list will be published by category.
  • After counseling, the authority will not provide any duplicate rank cards, therefore candidates should print their results for further processing.
