CBSE 10th Class Mathematics Basic and Standard in 2020: Central Board of Secondary Education released a circular regarding 10th class Mathematics Board Exams. As per the circular, the existing Mathematics Board Examination is the standard-level examination. There will be no change in syllabus, Question papers for both Standard-Level and Basic-level will be based on the existing syllabus. However, the Standard-Level Mathematics assesses higher Mathematical abilities compared to Basic-Level. Accordingly, the difficulty level of Mathematics – ‘Basic’ is less than that of Mathematics-‘Standard’.
The major change is student opting for Basic-Level Mathematics at class 10th then they can not opt for Mathematics as a subject in 11th and 12th class. Mathematics-Standard is to be passed at Class X, for taking up Mathematics at Sr. Secondary level.

CBSE 10th Class Mathematics Basic and Standard in 2020
CBSE will conduct the two papers for 10th class Mathematics exam. CBSE has announced there will be two Mathematics papers for students of 10th class. Before 2020, CBSE used to conduct only one mathematics exam. But now, CBSE has released two levels of class 10 mathematics exam i.e Basic and standard.
