Firstly, Central Universities are the universities that are centrally funded. Also, these universities are very popular in India. Many candidates are willing to take admissions in these central universities. Moreover, every year, the candidates get admissions to Central Universities through CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test). The universities offer admissions through centralized counseling. The candidates have to apply for the examination. Then, there will be a centralized counseling procedure for offering seats to the candidates in the participating central universities. There are total 9 central universities offering admissions to the candidates through CUCET 2018. These central universities are in the states of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu. The admissions of candidates will be completely dependent on the availability of seats and the choices of the candidates. In the year 2018, the examination may take place in the month of May 2018.
